I’m seeing all the five-star reviews and wondering if I ordered the wrong thing or did something to offend the chef. Came here... on a rainy cloudy day for a quick bite and ordered the chilaques (eggs on fried flour tortilla chips with roja sauce andavocados) and my partner ordered a chorizo burrito, and we each had a grapefruit Jarrito. The total was $35(!). The folksworking were friendly and our food came quickly. This is where I’m just so dumbfounded. My food had absolutely no flavor, evenafter I sprinkled salt on it. Neither did the chorizo inside the burrito. How do you *remove* flavor from chorizo? How does rojasauce taste more like the tortillas than savory, robust red sauce that I’ve had at other less-rated Mexican joints? Mysteriesof the universe. El Fogon make a signature dish called Cazuela se Marisco which has many choice of seafood from shrimp, clams, crab .. ???? also,... their Fish Tacos are on point with a rich sauce topping makes them very tasty Read more

I ordered a burrito from here and it was 90% rice. Barely any meat, or anything else. Really disappointing, and the flavor was... pretty bland as well. I won't be ordering again. Read more

Phenomenal n fantastically delicious. I had a fried whole porgy n it it was perfect!!!!! As u can see from the pictures, I... didn’t leave much left over. It was all great too, not just the fish! I’ve ordered from this n the other Fogon n they’reboth delicious. I’d recommend this place if ur in the area n like legit, real deal Mexican food. Read more

This is the most nastiest Mexican food I've ever had. The al pastor taco tasted like horses meat never had that taste before.... Ohhhh let's not forget the little delivery lady who came yelling at me because I simply ask her if she can bring my food up tomy door because my triplets were sleeping.
