expensive food with poor quality. The price is never the same. You call they give you one price than when you show up the price... went up an extra 3 dollars more. I used to be a regular but as of late have chosen not to come. I don’t want to say anything bad about small businesses but... every time coming there it feels like eyes are on you. If you’re Caribbean you understand what I mean. Every time you passinto the spot a whole group of Haitian men are watching you. As a customer that is the most uncomfortable feeling. When thisplace first opened it used to be very good and comforting. The steamed fish and the legume were my favorites on top of the friedfish. Now it feels like this place went down hill. Especially the vibe of the place it’s creepy. I’ve never seen arestaurant where people sit and watch but don’t eat. It’s strange and very telling. Great food, but absolutely terrible customer service. You need to have someone taking orders who can speak English, and that's... coming from one Haitian descent to the next. Every time i come in here they get mad you don't speak Creole and get mad when youask them for basic things like extra sauce or pikliz. For what reason? Prices are already high so let me get a little extra formy patronage. Then they move so slow. It's a serious problem at Caribbean restaurants in general not just Haitian for badcustomer service and the food tastes amazing, but Haitian restaurants need to step it up more or else they won't get more of theawareness they need to continue to succeed.
