Great food, but absolutely terrible customer service. You need to have someone taking orders who can speak English, and that's... coming from one Haitian descent to the next. Every time i come in here they get mad you don't speak Creole and get mad when youask them for basic things like extra sauce or pikliz. For what reason? Prices are already high so let me get a little extra formy patronage. Then they move so slow. It's a serious problem at Caribbean restaurants in general not just Haitian for badcustomer service and the food tastes amazing, but Haitian restaurants need to step it up more or else they won't get more of theawareness they need to continue to succeed. This behavior wouldn't fly in Manhattan so why bring it to your own? Tuh Read more

expensive food with poor quality. The price is never the same. You call they give you one price than when you show up the price... went up an extra 3 dollars more. The owner need to hire quality staff. Set a price, stopped stealing an extra dollar frompeople. No I would not recommend this place. Read more

I used to be a regular but as of late have chosen not to come. I don’t want to say anything bad about small businesses but... every time coming there it feels like eyes are on you. If you’re Caribbean you understand what I mean. Every time you passinto the spot a whole group of Haitian men are watching you. As a customer that is the most uncomfortable feeling. When thisplace first opened it used to be very good and comforting. The steamed fish and the legume were my favorites on top of the friedfish. Now it feels like this place went down hill. Especially the vibe of the place it’s creepy. I’ve never seen arestaurant where people sit and watch but don’t eat. It’s strange and very telling. This type of nasty and auspicious energyis what scares customers away. Read more

It pains me to have to write this review especially during Haitian heritage month. However, unless we hold our own Haitian... people accountable, their service will never change. 1. Safety- It's a rainy day out, the floors of the restaurant includingthe bathroom are ceramic tiles. We walked into the restaurant 5 mins to 4pm and immediately informed the waitress/hostess thatthe floor was slippery as I felt it as I walked in. She nodded her head ok and asked what I wanted to order. After then enteringthe bathroom and almost falling, the owner Peter who was present went into the bathroom and threw down a few paper towels andwiped with his feet then pushed the towels to the side of the toilet bowl ?! Customers continued to come into the restaurant andcomplain that the floor was slippery and Noone did anything. A man walked in at 4:47pm and slipped and fell. Three people had tolift him off the floor. Immediately those same nonchalant employees rushed from behind the counter and place four rippedcardboard boxes on the floor!??!!! This was completely avoidable and demonstrates that the employees/owner clearly don't careabout their liability for slip and fall cases. 2. Service- The waitress Shirley is also the hostess and is also a cook. She isstretched too thin and at several times mid sentence needed to pick up the phone, go into the kitchen to turn down the stove orpack the plates. She has a friendly demeanor but was clearly flustered because she had so many responsibilities. The employeesare constantly changing and the food quality is highly inconsistent. Everyone else on the staff seemed clueless and wereconstantly calling her to resolve an issue. 3. Food- One word TERRIBLE. My partner and I were in the mood for seafood and askedif the seafood is cooked fresh to which Shirley said yes. I ordered a Creole Pasta with shrimp and my partner ordered a grilledfish. Shirley stated the order would take fifteen minutes and we said ok and sat down. 45 mins passed b Read more

Worst experience ever. I called over the phone and asked before I went in to make sure they had the specific food I wanted, the... lady told me yes they did. When I arrive to the restaurant I told the same lady what I was in for all of a sudden they didn’thave much left only for a medium . ( I asked her if she had medium and large over the phone, and she said yessss) I thenproceeded to tell her I would take the medium she caught a attitude with me when I asked her for the price. I waited 20 minsand I didn’t receive my order, so after twenty mins of wait I asked how long and she had the nerve to ask me what I wanted. She completely left me waiting without serving me and even after I told her what I was waiting for she stood there with a stupidlook on her face, they don’t care about their customers and there’s are better Haitian restaurants and the prices wasridiculous. I can’t stop you from eating there but I see why they never had much costumer Read more
