Food is good. Place is spacious. A bit pricey but hey, where isn’t these days. No lunch or happy hour specials available... besides I think Tuesdays for taco Tuesday. This was a fantastic find. It's right around the corner from The Barclay Center, which also means street parking can be... treacherous. The fact that it's always busy is a good sign. It's annoying when you're trying to get a seat or have to waitoutside but the food is totally worth it. The classics like oxtail and jerk chicken were on point. Personally I would haveloved it spicier but plenty of table hot sauce to choose from. The side of vegetables were some of the best vegetables I'veever had. Perfectly crunchy and balances the whole meal along with the delicious side of rice. We also tried the Mac-n-cheese,sweet plantains, jerk wings and chicken and waffles. Unfortunately they ran out of fried chicken but upon asking, substitutedchicken tenders instead for my daughter. Drinks were on the sweeter juicier side. I asked someone about the restaurant. He told us to go and the food was good. My wife and I went and to say the food was good... was an understatement!!! The food was DELICIOUS . The ambiance and the workers was FANTASTIC!! My wife and I first time here Iordered the Jerk Fried Rice Yummy and my wife ordered Oxtails and Mac and Cheese Yummy. My family and I went out for lunch to celebrate my birthday. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were top notch. Got the... black cake to celebrate, it was yummy & moist. We even met chef Simpson in person. Such a warm welcoming person! We brought foodhome for everyone who couldn't join us, they all enjoyed their meals as well. Visited twice and enjoyed it both times. Andrea, our bartender always makes it a great experience and ensures our food comes out... on time. I ordered the jerk oxtail the first time and the crab legs the second time and had no regrets. The ambience is alwaysnice. Well, the food here was really good. I mean, I was impressed!! They got the whole Jamaican flavor , it was on point. We had... appetizers and all and it was so good. The coconut crusted shrimp was real good. Only downside, we ordered desert and theyforgot it and we couldn't bother ordering it over. Food was that good that we ordered a take out to take home.
