Great atmosphere for drinks or a quick meal. Huge bar and great big dining area. Menu is smaller than pre-covid but packed with... delicious items!! Boxty Balls!! Great portion sizes. I was able to take the classic corn beef sandwich home to my daughter. I bought the colossal to have for... the next few days. Only con I had was the toasted bread was too hard for my liking. Friendly staff, great customer service andthe wait wasn't very long considering it was At Patrick's day. Atmosphere was sports related. Patio had a few table games goingon. I would recommend. The chips taste better same day. My daughter said reheating them they didn't taste well. Read more
We ordered our food through Hooley Houses website for delivery. It took an hour and a half to get to us (we live three miles up... the road) and it was all cold and soggy and absolutely disgusting. My husband ordered the stew and we asked for bread on theside. It was tossed into the middle of the container and so soggy he had to scoop it out. No care given to any of this food atall. I went here once before a couple years ago and thought it was nasty then but in the spirit of St. Patty's Day, I thoughtI'd give it a go again. Nope! Just nope! We went on a Wednesday evening for dinner and trivia. The place has a large bar area and a large dining room. The food was just... ok. The potato skins were ok but were too overcooked. The corned beef on the reuben sandwiches was tough and stringy and theside of boxty was burnt. The stuffed boxty entree was pretty good and the corned beef in that was more tender. The drinks weregood. Trivia was fun but it was hard to hear the hostess because the acoustics in the dining room were not good. Read more

August 2022: I've been here a few times before and have tried the loaded tots, which are delicious. Never had potato tots with... corned beef on them. You gotta try them to know. This time, I opted to go with the Irish egg rolls, a unique concoction withcorned beef and cheese in it. Very tasty. Pros: * The bar and seating area is very spacious. They have outdoor seating aswell. * Friendly staff who served our large group very well. * Parking is plentiful. * Food is very good. See my explanation forthe Irish rolls. Between the loaded tots and the Irish rolls, people cannot go wrong. * Variety of drink offerings. Cons: * Didnot have enough IPAs on there drink menu. I was looking for Great Lakes Brewery Chill Wave and they did not haveit. Conclusion: I shall return. Read more
