A small place you can easily miss. However the food is great while sticking to the basics you would search for (lo mein and... fried rice especially so). The price and portions are similarly unbeatable. Read more

Best chow mein in the state of Minnesota! Have been coming here for almost 3 decades! Had to make a "special trip" here while... back in Minnesota. Nothing even close to this in Cedar Rapids. Read more

Dine in; had chicken chow mein- had a different flavor than I expected, seemed sweet, but was good. Place seemed a bit dirty. ... Asked for water and they gave me a bottle ($1) and bottle seemed to have been refilled (was dirty). Read more

This place was delicious..some of the best house special fried rice I've had in awhile.. matter of fact, the sweet and sour... chicken is good also.. what stood out most was, I called 20 min before closing time, placed my order, and ended up going to thewrong restaurant. They stayed open like 10 after closing till I received my food.. that was great customer service.. thanksagain.. Food was great Read more

I have been consistently satisfied with this restuarant, and don't remember even one time when I felt let down in any way. So I... have been ordering food from here for close to a year now. Its at least twice a week, usually more. The food is always hot andfresh. The owners & employees are super friendly. The customer service is actually genuine. I would recommend House Of Hui's toanyone and everyone I know. Read more

I'm upset that we spent over $45 for this and the rest ended up in the trash. The 1 good thing about this review is that hey... have large portions, the pot stickers are good and even though I had to throw away my food, it was good when it was fresh. Myadvice would be to order the sauce on the side. And the delivery guy was nice. On a Saturday afternoon, I ordered the lemonchicken, kung pao, pot stickers and three drinks for delivery. The total came to be $44. It should have been just a little underor over $30. We called them back. Apparently, they raised their prices and have not updated their website yet. It arrived buteverything was sticky because they filled the box to the brim with lemon sauce and it had spilled out. The chicken was DRENCHEDin the sauce. I wish I was exaggerating. The amount of sauce they put was ridiculous. Its as if they spilled that much onaccident and didn't want to fix it. I didn't end up eating the leftovers because everything was soggy and not appetizing at all.Was not worth trying to scrape it off and attempting to reheat. My Husband is a fan of kung pao. He gets it everywhere we gobut for some reason, this was the worst he's ever had and he did not end up eating his leftovers as well. He even tried to addour own seasoning/sauces to make it better. We ordered two entrees, they only gave us enough rice for 1. for as much as wepaid, it wasn't fair. Won?t be ordering from here again. It?s great that they have good reviews but they were just reallyslacking with our order. We just moved here are searching for our #1 take-out :( Would have gladly spent that money somewhereelse then the trash. Read more
