Stopped by for lunch today and really enjoyed it. The staff were pleasant and professional and the BBQ was great.

It took ten minutes for the guy to finally respond, he was washing dishes. The online menu states a family meal comes with a... gallon of tea and 6 rolls. They had neither one. No offer of a discount for not getting all of it. The green beans were way overseasoned, the mac and cheese was brown and soggy. We came in around 6:30 so not close to closing time. Called back to find outwhy no rolls he argued that we hadn't asked for them, not true. Then said they didn't have any. Wish I had read the reviews, Iwould have not wasted my money. Wont be back. Any time I come to this area and I'm headed into brookshire I stop by this gas station, I have a great experience with the... personnel. They are friendly, willing to talk beyond the basic hello, and down right welcoming. I love stopping by to get somesome of this amazing BBQ that is hard to be matched in any way, shape, or form. They have daily specials, today is Thursday andI got the #6 with some fried okra and waffle fries alongside my brisket sandwich. I love coming to a place where I see NOT EVENONE FLY! Clean environment with a side of southern hospitality. My meal was less than $11!! You cant ask for more from a gasstation honestly.
