I enjoy the way they added pictures of the community all over the restaurant. The food is good and the atmosphere is casual.

I recommend coming here! We were seated moderately quickly by nice staff. A pleasant surprise was that there were Kid's Days on... Wednesdays where a kid's meal is 99 cents. They served us our drinks first, then about 10 minutes later, appetizers. There was apretty long wait to get our entrees, but the employees were kind and tried to be fast considering how busy it was. The food wasdelicious and a nice proportion. When it came time for dessert, they told us that their freezer had broke and they were debatingwhether or not to serve us the ice cream we ordered. This was the BEST APPLEBEES I'VE EVER HAD!!! No exaggeration! The food was incredible! After having so much sub-par, non... exciting, luke-warm, food served to my family by wait staff who acted like we were such a huge inconvenience just for askingfor a menu or standard service like salt AND pepper! (Take a breath...) We have gotten used to it and even get overly excitedwhen we get standard service. So when Applebee's, being our second choice after a long wait at Old Chicago, they greeted usand sat is down in no time. This was a nice surprise. Then the waiter came. PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, AND HE KNEW THE MENU! I'msorry I'm wiping the tears from my eyes. We ordered and the food came quickly. It was HOT! You remember, the food your parentsused to tell you about. It came hot and fresh and it tasted good. Those were the days! (In my best Forrest Gump voice) wellthey are BACK! This place gave me a sizzling skillet, with tasty food on it, and then the waiter brought drinks and napkins overand over without us asking for them! It was like my first kiss only better because I didn't have to persuade them like my thirdgrade girlfriend. They JUST DID IT and smiled. Yes I know I'm going on like a school girl but it was like that. I have evencaught myself looking toward that direction when I drive home hoping, just maybe I can go back and get the same experience.
