Overall, I had a pretty good time here. We got wonderful drinks (alcoholic and non), a cold appetizer (tuna poke), the chicken... hibachi course, a Philadelphia roll and a side of chicken fried rice. The food came out pretty good, our hibachi chef wasentertaining but everything went by lightning fast, but hey he made the food! Our server seemed so stressed. Unfortunately myappetizer came out after the whole hibachi thing and my sushi didn’t come until we were about ready to leave. None of this wasour servers fault. However, this was definitely frustrating. My sushi rice was a little hard and the fish a little chewy, whichwas weird considering the tuna was super fresh and delicious. If I could give zero stars I would. I pre-ordered takeout, texted when I arrived, didn’t get a response, walked in and waited... 40 min. I spent $100+ on takeout, and got frozen salad, sloppy soup with no veggies, cold food, and the sushi chef threw mycontainer on the counter. I tried to cancel multiple times, asked for my money back and they proceeded to tell me it would take3-5 days to refund. I asked for cash and the manager told me they didn’t have any money. I left with the food and will NEVERreturn. Insincere apologies, horrible service and terrible food… save yourself the trouble, it’s not worth it! This place isa sloppy mess, unprofessional with horrible customer service. It’s not the Benihana experience. Save your time and money. Read more
Didn't have a reservation so ate near the bar. The food was prepared as expected - only thing was the salad was a bit frozen -... so the lettuce and tomato were a bit hard. Otherwise it was interesting. Haven't eaten here in many years. Our waitress wassuper nice and did well while she was busy. Read more
Excellant Ambiance. Each Station seats 8 so if your party is smaller be prepared to sit with others. Tables were well spaced... plus seats & tables were very clean. Table host was friendly & welcoming and gave great service. We got our drinks & cocktailsright away. Then got our Hot Onion with Sliced Mushrooms Soups and Fresh Salads both were delicious. The Chef gave out 2individual dipping sauces in bowls to everyone. Reviewed our individual orders, asked what we were celebrating then started hisEntertainment of Preparing our Meals as we watched in Delight. He quickly reviewed Each order many times. He was very precisewith each generous meal he served and followed serving options instantly as he served parts of each meal. I was very impressedby how attentive he was to each various meal ordered. Each Meal was served exactly as requested. Optional: AppetizerPlatters Optional: Cocktails, Beer, Wine or Refreshments. Optional: Various Ice Cream flavors for Dessert @ the end ofMeal. Kevin was our chef and put on a great show. The food was exquisite! Benihana's is a fun experience. Takes about 90-120 mins... depending, and they do a very good job of making sure to identify allergies, etc to make sure food doesn't mingle. It's been along time, but I plan on going back soon, and often! Unfortunately, we're both on antibiotics, so no drinks, but the bill ranabout $120 including tip. Not an everyday restaurant, but very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get, plus thenice show the chef gives the table. *The picture is the leftovers, after I was fully stuffed with fried rice, shrimp, scallopsand veggies! We've been here many times over the years and always had a fantastic time. Our chef this time was One of my favorites. The big... issue I couldn't look past was the speed and accuracy of the rest of the service. After we sat down, we ordered two glasses ofwine which took about 25 minutes to come out. We also ordered a sushi sampler which took so long, it came after our meal wasdone and dessert was served and on top of that it was nigiri and not sushi as seen in the picture. Since I was full, I took thishome and didn't ask about the actual sushi because I didn't want to wait another hour for 5 pieces of sushi. If it wasn't forthe amazing chef this would have been a real disappointment. Read more
Located at flat iron mall. Food cooked at our table japanese style. Very nice evening. Very congested though especially with... Covid-19 around. Did not expect such a large crowd. Food is expensive, but very filling. Even had ice cream at end. Staff Veryhelpful in making your meal special. Good experience. Read more
Chef Kanen is the best chef ive ever had! Ive been coming here for years and he was the most personable and entertaining chef... yet and his special sauce was delicious. The food was awesome, my steak was cooked perfectly. Overall the experience was great.My party had an excellent fun time.
