This was the first time being to this place and never will go back. The place is way too loud , can hardly hear the person next... to me talk. The service was horrible. It took 30mins for the waitress to greet us. After taking the order , it took another30mins just for the drinks to arrive as it was sitting at the counter for all this time while the staff were talking on top ofour drinks. 30 mins after the drinks , the food arrived cold, no utensils or napkins. It took us another 30 mins to have thebill since the waitress is too busy talking to her colleagues. If you have 3 hours to spare. This will be the place for you, ifnot, this is the worst place ever. Seated for over 15 mins before seeing the server. Drinks appeared half hour after ordering. After ordering over 1h+, our... appetizers still didn't appear. We had to tell our server to check the kitchen and she came out with them. Probably sat therefor while as the food was cold. No utensils/napkins. Server too busy for us. Took us half hour attempt to get the bill. Iunderstand bar is meant to be very loud. But this place is unreasonable with the blast. Conversation was nearly impossible, evenwith our server. Read more
The food was amazing, the presentation was simple, elegant and beautiful. We had great service by Marianne. My husband ordered... the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich with a poutine. We ate at Jacks in July 2022. It was our first time there. We had a reservation and were 10 min early. The good: we were... seated on time The staff was nice The ambience was cool, loved the seating outside too. The food: my burger was a 5/10 but mywife had the fish and chips and she said it was delicious. The bad: Waited 25 min for a waitress to actually come over to usand ask if we wanted water. We ordered right away because we already had enough time to look at the menu and it still tookanother 50 min for our food to come out. Not one apology or explanation... We watched as servers passed our food around tryingto figure out where it was supposed to go. Our waitress didn't check on us once in the 50 min we waited for our food. They alsoleft the menus in the middle of our table and forgot the utensils. Some waiter dropped ketchup on the floor behind me and keptwalking. I picked up the container myself. The bathroom is a disaster. Puddles of stuff on the floors, no toilet paper in thestalls and its a unisex bathroom with saloon doors, so all of the drunk people were smacking each other as they tried to enteror leave the area. There is a lot of staff in this restaurant but most of them were empty handed. One man in a suit, wholooked like the manager but wasn't managing much of anything. The top of my burger bun was hard as a rock and the fries lookedlike they were fried in 4 yr old oil. Not impressed and not really motivated to return here. Read more

The food is great ! Atmosphere is chill and warm and the staff is also really friendly. - Definitely need to try the ribs. They... were melting, literally. - Ambiance is nice but the music gets a little loud when you?re going out with a group that prefers tohave a chat. - Drinks are pretty neat. - If you?re a fan of meat, this is your place. This is my second time at Jack SaloonDIX30 and I have to say there was a lot of improvements on the food and the service. I recommend. Read more
Nice resto bar with a good atmosphere. The food was good and affordable. It's also a nice place for an happy hour with friends.
