This is a great restaurant, you’ve gotta try it. We have passed this and other of their locations many times, and never knew... what the food was like, so we never stopped. So we finally made a visit, and this place is great. My wife normally does not eatoysters but they’re smoked oysters are absolutely delicious and even she enjoyed them. Actually the smoked oysters were thehighlight of our trip to Lafayette. Service was great the drinks were great, and the food was absolutely delicious. Anothersurprise on the menu was the fried alligator, most places it tends to be chewy, not here very tender and delicious. I highlyrecommend this restaurant to everyone. Read more

Extremely popular family place. The parking lot was full on a Thursday night. I started out with shrimp gumbo, which was... average. Very little flavor. My colleague got a half dozen oysters, and they looked fantastic. He raved about them. We alsoordered a platter of fried mushrooms, hush puppies and fish. The fish was especially delicious. Finally I ordered shrimpetouffe, which contained shrimp with little flavor. It came with corn on the cobb, which was excellent. Service was responsiveand friendly. I would go back. Read more

First time at this location. It was very spacious with outside eating if wanted. You can see it from the highway. They have... handicap parking and restrooms and the food was very good and fresh. We also had char- broiled oysters but the pic did not comeout clear. The seasoning used on them was excellent. They also sell candles and t-shirts. The scent of the candles are breadpudding and linen. $6.45 each. Give a take a few pennies. The only thing I didn't like, was if you use a debit or credit card,there is 4% service charge but I guess that is what most restaurants are charging now. Read more
