Love this place. Tea is quality! Tina is great and all staff are really friendly and wonderful service. They serve gluten free... tea sandwiches and biscuits and cakes, and make all of them in house ! Their Jams are Very yummy I do wish they served a localhoney of sorts instead of packets...and some sort of milk alternative for lactose intolerance :) Read more
I LOVE Tina's! It makes me happy! The tea is absolutely HEAVENLY, the food is FANTASTIC and the service is awesome. My favorite... is the Coronation Chicken Salad, no wait, my favorite is the Full English Breakfast. Well, maybe my favorite is the clottedcream and the scones! I love it all. Very nice place with great decor and excellent food and tea selections. My wife and I got "high tea" and the offerings were very... good. We've been to several "high tea" places and this has been one of the best. Sandwiches were fresh and tasty and sweets hada good variety. Plenty to eat without being too filling. Nice traditional english tea room. Excellent selection of teas to choose from, together with traditional english staples from... Cornish pasties to Devonshire cream teas. When the store was open in Carmel it was a lovely place for my Bridal Shower in 2019. I was disappointed it closed during the... pandemic because we planned trips back there once everything opened. I noticed last month you can order items online, which Idid. However, I never received them after a few weeks, even though the order said it had shipped. I notified them about it viatheir email provided, and never heard back. I paid via PayPal and was able to file a case directly with the seller. As soon asthe documents were sent, my order was cancelled with no note from the seller. And no refund. However, even though I immediatelyresponded asking when I'll receive my refund, they have again chosen not to answer. I will escalate the issue next to PayPal toresolve if I don't hear back in a few days. Unfortunately, it seems that while the tea room was a success, it appears theyaren't equipped to be an online store. A simple apology and a refund doesn't seem to much to ask. So far, I have receivedneither. Read more
