Despite only being a drive-through coffee shop, the coffee is one of the best in terms of flavor and consistency. The coffee is... strong and definitely one I recommend to any coffee drinkers who are in Brownsville. The staff was very polite and swift when itcame to our order. First time ordering. Frozen Smoothie, correct. Sealed sanitized straw, correct. Very friendly and knowledgeable courteous girl... who answered all my questions, correct. A hole on the top of the drink lid, WRONG, INCORRECT, UNHYGIENIC. The straw hole on thetop lid -MUST- be sealed COMPLETELY. Until this company changes their flawed and contamination prone HOLE on the plastic lid, IWILL NOT BE PURCHASING ANY MORE BEVERAGES. There is a coffee bean PLACED OUTSIDE of the drink.The product is EXPOSED when handedto you and MUST BE INSIDE of the plastic cup! WRONG, WRONG and again WRONG. 1.- McDonald's has a SEALED PLASTIC LID HOLE.CORRECTLY DONE. 2.- Whataburger drinking cups have a SEALED PLASTIC LID HOLE on all their disposable drinks. CORRECTLYDONE. Smoothie King has a SEALED PLASTIC LID HOLE. CORRECTLY DONE. Starbucks has a SEALED PLASTIC LID HOLE. It used to be amazing, order was always perfect no matter what it was. For the past 2 months or so I haven't had a decent drink... whether iced coffee or redbull smoothie. Something has changed. Staff is always friendly but what good does that do if thedrinks don't taste good. I am 74 points away from platinum, so I've have my good share of drinks from here. Just hope qualitygoes back to when it first opened. Last thing I'd want is for the Human Bean to become "just another starbucks". Read more
Called to confirm non-dairy milks: soy, almond, coconut and almond. Iced Soy latte was much better than the lattes I had on the... island. I was surprised by the chocolate covered coffee bean. At first sight, I thought it was an odd foam bubble. Nice sippinglid and they still offer you a straw without asking. Read more
They have a delicious green tea smoothie that I definitely miss! Came to San Antonio and have yet to find anything similar than... that delicious drink. Only missing a star because the food doesn?t taste that good, it?s pre packed cold and you can tellbecause it?s cold in the middle and warm on the outer parts and its really messy. This place is amazing!! By far much better than Starbucks. The coffee is so rich and smooth with the perfect blend of flavors.... And the staff; WOW! Exceptional customer service. Very friendly and warm greeting staff. I literally have to drive across townto get here just to go back across town for work. Definitely worth the trip and service. This place always helps me get my daystarted great in the morning! My new favorite coffee fix! Read more
