We love it at the Screech Owl. The food is amazing. They have a variety of their beers and a few ciders and wines. The owners... can not be any nicer and we love to chat with them. When we get to WV, we can't wait to go to the Screech Owl. Read more

Great place! We showed up after kitchen closed and right before the brewery closed, but they still welcomed us in and let us try... some beers and set us up with a 4 pack and some spent grain bread for the road at a very reasonable price. These guys reallyhave a passion for good beer, food and welcoming customers that not many places have. Can't wait to go back during hours for ameal. Read more

Blonde Beer was good. Fries were soggy and greasy, so I sent them back asking for crispier fries. Second batch came soggy too.... Ordered a Pizza.. ingredients were good and the ?crust? was good quality, but it was like pizza toppings on warm bread. I preferthinner pizza, but if it?s a thicker pizza like the one they serve I prefer the crust to have a crunch to it. Pulled pork nachoswere delicious, and my daughter loved the animal shaped chicken nuggets. The play area for the kids was also a nice touch givingus some adult time while the kids played. Read more

One of the most down to earth and friendly staff you will ever find. Tonight's special (steak hogie) was one of the best I've... had anywhere in the country, the homemade bread was some of the best I've ever had. The pulled pork nachos (cowboy nachos forthose who frequent BBQ restaurants) were amazing, do yourself a favor and get them fully loaded the taste profile is amazing. Mywife and I liked the Beer flight (I generally like whiskey on the rare occasions I do drink) so much so we each got a pint after(she got one that had Strawberry and I got the mango). Everything was great. Yes it's a drive but I assure you this place is ahidden gem and well worth your time. Everything pictured cost less than $50 with tip! Update: Two years later and stillamazing! The spent grain bread isn't my cup of tea, especially for pizza due to the fact that it's a little more doey than otherbreads. Most people love it, though. Read more

REALLY off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. Beer was excellent and the food was as well. It's quite nice that Roger... (owner) visits each table and really makes you feel welcome. Read more

It was a bit off the beaten path but we'll worth it. Good variety of great beer. Service was friendly and fast. They're more... technologically advanced than any other place I've been. You order beers on their app and it's delivered to your table, typically in under 2 minutes. Read more

Looking for an off the beaten path, then this is the place. Turn left of the wild turkey. Get a cold beer! Try honey Porter!... It's also available in cans. Try a pepperoni roll, hamburger, or a pulled pork sandwich. Read more
