This is our new favorite place to stay in the area (3x in the past year). It has an amazing small Inn vibe - really wonderful... old school attention to warmth and service. Amazing home made gourmet breakfasts available every day (way way better than theaverage). The rooms in the main building are unique, cozy and well outfitted. The beds are SUPER comfortable. The staff isgracious and inviting. We look forward to staying again on our next visit!!! Read more

Even though I was only there for a single night, everything was wonderful! There's a small parking lot in the back which makes... parking super easy. Everyone that I interacted with was super friendly and made sure I was comfortable and had everything Ineeded. The room was clean, cozy, and has a vintage, yet modern feel. I truly felt at home and had no problems. I wanted to staylonger if I could! I also had a delicious breakfast in the morning that helped my day start off great. If you have the choice, staying here is definitely an experience and you might fall in love with the lovely decor and everything (and everyone) inside. Read more

We loved our brief visit. Mom Dad and twin seven year olds were all impressed by the beautiful furnishings and overall feel of... this little inn. We stayed in the attic room with the king and two little single beds. It felt like a suite with a door betweenthe rooms, but the price was fair (a rare quality in this particular moment). Everyone we met who worked there was professiinaland friendly. We all slept well and our kids enjoyed their pancakes in the adorable breakfast room. OneSixtyFive gets a goldstar for a memorable stay. I stayed in the inn for a night and loved the experience! The inn is a very short walk away from the train station and delicious... restaurants. The owner and staff were so kind and welcoming and even let me spend the day in their cozy library. I highlyrecommend this beautiful inn! Read more

We tried for months to stay at this lovely inn, and others had always beat us to it. We finally succeeded, and it was certainly... worth the wait! Eileen and her staff kept us very comfortable and well-fed, and the inn is historic, beautiful and in a premierlocation. We will be back to this warm, welcoming place again! Read more

Great room and friendly service. And actually I could meet the owner and had the luxury of getting the breakfast service from... her and it was fantastic. The location was also perfect because it was so close to the Bowdoin college. The only thing that Ididn't like was that it was difficult to find the inn office when I arrived. No one in the hall so I had to figure it out bymyself. Maybe a small sign showing the location might be helpful. Read more

We stayed in the main house which was recently renovated. There were thoughtful touches everywhere and the rooms were very... comfortable and well set up. The common areas are very warm and welcoming and we spent a lot of time at the bar just chatting towith the staff. More than anything, everyone was so friendly and accommodating that we felt right at home. We have alreadybooked our stays for this fall. Great location in downtown and close to Bowdoin. Read more
