This was our first time visiting. The interior was nice with lots of natural lighting. I had the BBQ ribs. Excellent, tender to... the point that the meat slid off the bone and left the bone clean. A very good rub seasoning. I tried the chipotle and cherryBBQ sauce, both very good. The next time I go, I may try the brisket, pulled pork or one of their wood fired pizzas. The outsidehas a nice pond with a fountain with a bench to have a seat. There was also a fire pit. They host a car show at the beginningof summer and in October. Read more
My family and I had a wonderful supper tonight which included BBQ, slaw, fries, onion rings and baked beans finished off with a... brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. We talked to one of the owners and can see how much they care about the quality andpresentation of the food as everything we had was delicious and presented well. These North Carolina visitors will definitely beback for some more delicious BBQ the next time we are camping in Michigan! Read more
The food was alright. Not a bad atmosphere. Unfortunately, I've never had such a bad waitress in my life. I couldn't get her... name, since she didn't stay by our table except to say 5 words and literally turn her back on us before we could even respond.She was a short haired older lady. All of the rest of the staff was very friendly. Our waitress, not exaggerating, said 20 wordsthe entire time we were there. Really disappointing. Stop in for a quality experience. Order a wood fired pizza and cheesy bread that uses quality ingredients that doesn?t cut... corners. Well? pizza has no corners but they don?t compromise, okay? Came here for our anniversary today and was waited on by Mel and she asked us what we would like to start out with beverage wise... and then a starter. Then recommend the pizza so Seth could cook it for me, and my wife got the cod sandwich. I chose The Vikingpizza because it was recommended to me by Seth as well. Great staff! Great food! Top of the line ..a quality restaurant . The artisan pizza was amazingly wonderful ..tasty...quality food...the pizza chef Seth... is fantastic...keep up the good work ..it was one of the finest gluten free pizzas I have ever eaten. Our waitress Melody was soattentive, kind and thoughtful. She made sure the coffee cups were always full and kept checking back to see how we were doing...she has a sweet personality. My husband had the brisket and said it was the best he has ever eaten in a restaurant. We willdefinitely be back when we are in the area.
