I had eaten here many times before about 5 years ago and it had always been delicious. Moved away, came back. Ordered take out... today and it was very disappointing. Burgers were very thin and way over-cooked. Definitely was not as delicious as I once knewthem to be. :( Read more

We?ve been going to Carter Burger since before they remodeled. I have to say the menu was better and the food was of higher... quality before they remodeled. On a brighter note the staff is just as friendly as ever, if not friendlier. On our last visitour granddaughter wanted ice cream so we all ordered some and the girls behind the counter told us it was no charge, they hadtaken care of it. Well no one had ever done anything like that for us and it was very appreciated. Very sweet! Read more

From the condescending employees to the misleading advertisement for half price burgers to the paper thin patties that were... seared to the color of hockey pucks, I definitely won't be back. I already had a bad taste in my mouth while I watched thecashier make the person in front of me repeat himself four times while laughing in his face because she wasn't paying attention. Then I got to order and my half price burger came with a $2.95 upcharge, making it about 80% of the original price. I was givensome run around about how it reflects the size of the burger and a lot of customers ask the same question. If everyone is askingwhy the "half price on Tuesdays" burger isn't truly half price, maybe you should be more clear about the policy... The burgeritself didn't taste like much. If the patty was any thinner, I would have lost it under the lettuce. I satisfied my craving fora burger at another restaurant the next day. Read more

So, getting my triple burger and then biting into it, a wave of nostalgia hit me. "Wow, this is just like the cafeteria in my... high school feeding me what could barely be considered meat!" The burgers were hot enough to melt iron, which I think wasintentional so you didn't taste what you were eating. But once you bit in, the most bland, terrible burgers you would ever paymoney for hits your taste buds. The fries were mediocre. I've had better, I've had worse. The lettuce tasted sour (?) which Idon't know how that happens. The drinks had a very strange taste to them. I think they need to clean out their ice machine. Ihad water and my wife had sprite. They bot had the same, strange taste to them. Ice machines get nasty if you don't clean themout often. Either that or they were getting city water for their drinks. I was going to say "well it's at least better thanWhataburger" but as time went on it just tasted worse and worse. I'd put it on par with McDonalds. Maybe slightly below. Staffwas nice at least. Nice little burger place. Burgers are pretty good. Staff were nice but they restaurant kept running out of everything. First... they had no fries, then said that they had no sweet potato fries but they made up for it which was nice. The ice cream Sunday isHUGE! Great for sharing. Everything here is pretty good but just felt like everything was very rushed and panicked about runningout of ingredients. Read more

Burgers are everywhere. With so many fast food restaurants selling burgers, most of the American population is within minutes of... a dining establishment that sells burgers. They are the all- American food and another thing I like about burgers is that theyare one of the few foods that everyone in my family can agree to eat when we dine out. These facts were enough to convince me totry Carter?s Burger in Bryan, Texas. Carter?s Burger ha an ordinary interior with more seating than expected. You walk in, goto the front counter, order and pay for your food, then select a table and wait for one of the staff to bring your food to you.The total time from order to serving isn?t long at all and the iced tea is self- serve. There is no booze served here, but thatis okay- we all need a break every now and then. For food, Carter?s Burger specializes in burgers, but they also sell otherassorted sandwiches, dinners, sides, etc. I recommend going for a burger, as they are juicy and delicious without being over thetop. The toppings are kept to a simple selection and they are just right. You can order different sides, but I recommend thesweet potato fries. They are better than the regular fries and really add to the meal. And the prices are really low- about thesame as that of a fast food restaurant but much, much better. I like most any type of food, but burgers are so commonplace thatI end up selecting them for my meal more than any other food option. Fast food is good for the quick service, but Carter?sBurger is much tastier and it is difficult to beat the price. It is easily worth going out of your way to dine here and it?sclose to College Station. Make the effort to try Carter?s Burger- you won?t be disappointed. Read more
