Great little outdoor shop. Local beer patio. Small Downtown walking district. I could hang out here all day. Ha!
Pleasant and helpful staff. We browsed the store with our two dogs with no issues. Bought a couple of shirts and a nice... backpack for under $150, which is quite cheap compared to most outdoor stores. We picked up some food a few miles down the road, but we called to see if we could eat with our dog at BC outdoors patio. A... woman answered and kindly told us we could. What a great small town outfitter! Great brands for your hiking/backpacking/camping needs. This is the only place I have been... able to find the popular "West of Asheville" hats and clothing. Once you have picked out your gear, why not sit down at the barand enjoy a local brew. With so many breweries in western NC, you're bound to find a beer you've never had before. I'm not sureif they do shuttles for hikers, but it's worth asking them if they have any connections. Read more

Great place to shop and hangout and grab a beer. The small brewery next to it has a limited but good selection of craft beers... from the local breweries. I would highly recommend to stop by here when you are in town. Read more
Great shop attached to a pub for a great beer. Enjoy it out on the deck and take in the scenery. Friendly service, great gear... and beer selection. Be sure to check out the food truck and ait back and relax. The gear brands are top of line. Read more
