Me and my wife went here for our one year anniversary. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful and our server Tristan was the... best. The food was delicious and the serving size was plenty! The steaks that we ordered was very flavorful and very tender. Read more

I was visiting and touring Bryson city and the beautiful Smoky Mountains in NC, My family and I were excited to dine here but... the excitement quickly went away. As we walked in the restaurant We were greeted by the hostes and quickly turned away. I noticethe place looked more than half empty and some patrons were also leaving. We got the feeling of being rejected and unwanted bythe way the hostess told us to go eat somewhere else. She did mention that there were two Mexican restaurants in the area , Idon't know if it was because we're a Spanish family but it felt awful to be steered that way. As we left we notice other guestgo in the restaurant but weren't turned away and Ill leave it at that. Read more

Wow!!! Delicious food and great dining experience. We enjoyed the relaxing bar with perfect martinis and moved to an elegant... meal paced to enjoy. Never rushed and can?t say enough about the food. Lamb shank was melt in your mouth as was the prime rib.Rest of our group had fresh trout that was great! Family style side dishes for in season fresh veggies and homemade saladdressings and snack with old family recipes. Desserts come with dinner and the hot triple berry cobbler with ice creamdestroyed my diet. After dinner we explored the 100 year old rustic inn and found it to be an adventure as we turned down eachunique hallway. We had a chance to see some of the suites. The inn is rustic historic so many of it?s features are not updatedwhich is great if you want to step back in time. Read more

Went on a girls weekend, and it was amazing. The bartender was a hoot! The food was absolutely delicious, we all got different... dishes and shared them around. Definitely recommend the prime rib and the trout. Very accommodating for my food allergies too! Read more

First thing, we noticed how rustic the restaurant was. It reminded us of being in the mountains and we were! Such a lovely... place to take a long leisure dinner. Second thing, you need to be very hungry because the portions are large. Family styleserving was a delight. You don?t get to pick the vegetables but what they served was tasty. Dessert was over the top! Comeeat this historic restaurant!!!! Read more

Wonderful dining experience! My husband and I made reservations to eat here and loved the food. The trout is amazing and the... bread, salad, soup, and 3 sides (macaroni and cheese, lima beans and baked apples) were delicious. We each chose differentdesserts: I picked the blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream and he picked the hot fudge cake with vanilla ice cream. Wereally enjoyed it and hope to eat here again next time we're visiting the area. Read more
