Update: Based on the business owner?s prompt and courteous reply to my review, I?m upgrading my rating to neutral. I don?t... follow their logic for not opening their store simply because the street is closed to automobile traffic, but not pedestriantraffic, as I walked only one and a half blocks to get here. (Oh the horror! Walking one and a half blocks!) Perhaps I?m beingoverly critical, or perhaps folks in small towns (I grew up in a town smaller than this) simply can?t stand to walk a couple ofblocks, or perhaps a little of both. Having experienced similar festivals in other small towns (most recently RibFest in London,OH) I can safely say business along those main streets tend to stay open as the festivals draw customers to their businesses. Toeach his own. Original review: Stopped by at 10 AM on a Wednesday (not a holiday) to find the place dark and locked. Not even asign on the door. This is not the way to run a successful business. Great little coffee shop! They are connected to a little home decor store too that super cute. I had a smoothie (the... acai/blueberry/rasberry) it was one the BEST smoothie combos I've had In a long time. The Mud Slide coffee was super deliciousalso! Read more
Triple White Out (their signature drink) was good. Coffee was too watered down and didn't taste very good. Informed them that... coffee was really weak, but not sure if they made a new batch afterward. Read more
This place is a great coffee shop every kind of coffee you could think of hot cold frappe you name it they make it! This is also... a great place if you need to meet somebody to do paperwork interviews Etc I closed on my house here! If you're in Bucyrusdefinitely a great place to check out nice hole in the wall!! Nice coffee shop (inside ?The Amish Vault? gift shop). Good coffee and good breakfast sandwich.
Fast and kind service. Food was meh, hot chocolate was bitter but the whipped cream was sweet. Smoothie was tasty.
Enjoyed my favorite, frozen hot chocolate. I have tried this at many different coffee houses and the Pelican makes this the... best. Added bonus is looking at the gifts, housewares and furniture at the Amish Vault. Small Town retail experience at it'sbest. Read more
