Food was pretty good recently price service was on point we had a young man this is our server usually I have servers that... aren't always attentive towards my water drinking and he was on it brought me another cup right after I wasn't even doing myother one and I was like this guy is getting a good tip. I ordered a meatloaf grilled meatloaf and it was pretty good superfilling the portion size is very good. We'll definitely be coming back to check it out. Read more
We did not even stay to eat here. We came around 10:04pm. They close at 11pm. We already knew what we wanted to eat. We wouldn't... have taken long. We would've left great tips. When we walked in there was also a couple behind us walking in too. There was ayoung guy cleaning windows. When he seen us walk in he stood up tall and looked back at the bar relaying mind messages lolbecause obviously they wish they could close early. A hostess seated us at a bench table and it was very filthy. Drink rings andcrumbs galore. It was very strange. The other two bench tables behind ours were also very dirty too. That immediately put usoff. Why would we be seated at an uncleaned section. That's highly distasteful. Big error on the hostess part as his duties.I've worked in the restaurant world and we go above and beyond for every guest/party and make sure our tables get cleaned and asa hostess you never seat someone at a dirty table. Big slacking was evident. We immediately changed our minds after less than aminute of staring at the table and decided to leave. Red flags. Abort. Visiting Austin from Houston wasn't so fun. I came with my family to Logan's as we haven't been to one in years! The bread was warm and so delicious! Our server helped us... out so much and our food out in a timely manner. My food tasted so good and the family gobbled their food! Can't wait tocomeback! Read more
I had been telling my husband how much i used to love going to logans everytime we passed by and we finally stopped by so he... could try for the first time & I really didnt want to do this bc the service was just really great but the food on our visittoday was completely lazy and just like overall not good. Neither my husband or i could eat what we were served. We firstordered the deviled eggs thinking they were going to come out looking like the pic on the right but we received the ones on theleft that were just soupy, salty and the egg itself was extremely cold and unappetizing. My husband ordered the maui skewers, igot the fried cheese and bacon burger both medium. The burger came with cold mozzarella cheese-sticks sitting on top of wetlettuce to the breading was soggy. On the menu the cheese was advertised to be extremely hot to be cautious so i was prettybummed out and just ordered a plain cheeseburger instead but still had to wait for it to be made so we just took it to go.Meanwhile, the maui skewers were well done and chewy. We were just kind of feeling defeated at that point and just left the dishthere and split my burger otw home. The cheeseburger was great and fries were crispy. Let me start by saying that the service in this establishment makes up for the negatives. From the moment you walk in the doors... to your waitress, you feel welcomed. This was our first time eating at Logan's. My mother thoroughly enjoyed the food, and myhusband thought the food tasted okay. I, on the other hand, did not like anything except the rolls and the baked potato. Thefood is not seasoned at all, so it works well for someone like my mother, who has hypertension. Unfortunately, my fried fish wasovercooked, so it was extremely dry. I could barely cut the fish, but as for the rolls, I could eat them all day every day. So,the reason for the three stars is the combination of flavorless food and outrageously disgusting restrooms. My husband, who isnot picky, said the overwhelming scent of urea is enough to make you vomit, and the waste basket overflowed onto the floor. Ididn't dare approach the ladies' room. Unsanitary to the max! I would have given one star, but since my mother thought herchicken tenders and steamed broccoli were delicious, I gave three. Read more
I haven't had great experiences with Logans lately but I thought I would give it another try. The staff at the Buda location... were awesome and on point with their roles. Since my last two disappointments at Logan's (at other locations) were steaks, Ichose chicken this time. The food was just average and the chicken was a bit undercooked. Letting it rest on my plate a bitevened out the temperature so that it was cooked all the way through. The green beans tasted like they came straight from a canwith no seasoning. In short, this location has awesome staff but mediocre food. Read more
Alex is the best bartender they have with Stacy and April. I have never felt more at home in this laid back Wonderful... atmosphere. Why is she not a manager? I have to give it up. Sal the general manager really knows how to take care of his staff.He needs a district manager position. But seriously back to this wonderful bartender that totally made my dining experiencetruly worth it. How does she make all the drinks and keep wonderful conversation? Great steaks hot food.
