The food was absolutely amazing. The shrimp were huge and the portions were spot on. This is a must stop spot if you're in the... area. You should definitely start you're Meal with the Devil with a Shotgun appetizer... Trust me you won't be disappointed!!! Read more
The establishment next door recommended this restaurant for it's Cajun food. I was very impressed as it was my first impression.... I was thinking this restaurant would be a casual sitdown place but it is actually a nice restaurant. They have a great menu andthe staff is very friendly. I sat outside on their large patio. Overall it was a great meal but the price was on the higher end.I would still recommend this restaurant. Read more
First time - food was delicious. It was very busy but we were seated in 5 minutes. Bruschetta is a must try! Grateful shrimp... with mash potatoes was tasty and filling. For appetizers we had the calamari and popcraw, both were very good. The beer was an IPA they had on draft, refreshing and... light for an IPA, don't remember the name though. My entrée was the taterfish which was tasty but the hash brown crust reallywasn't much of a crust. It was lightly cooked with no crunch. Overall the food is good but I think its overpriced. Read more
Just ate there today and the service was not good, nor was the food I used to work in the restaurant business and hence I feel... I have heightened perception when it comes to service We sat down and it took over 10 minutes before we were greeted and over15 minutes before we received our beverages The food was poor quality. The wedge salad had a weird vinaigrette instead oftraditional blue cheese, the ceviche was not palatable nor was it visually appealing, the stalk from the lettuce had not beentrimmed prior to tossing, and I had a piece of plastic in my kale salad (looked like the top of a salad dressings bottle). Ibrought this to the attention of our server and he comped my meal (for which I DO appreciate). Our server was not attentive andwe had to ask repeated times for our beverages, silverware, refills, and the check. We think he may have been high. He wasDEFINITELY new because we overheard him saying this to the table over. When I worked in the industry I made sure to greet newcustomers within a few minutes and I always checked back after a minute or two of the first bite to see what I could get forthem. I also did not let drinks remain empty and I anticipated needs before they occurred The place was not busy: only threeoccupied tables inside and three outside. I saw at least 6 staff walking aimlessly around when I went to the restroom. Hence noexcuse for the poor service. If I was the owner of this place I would implement more education on greeting customers faster,anticipating their needs, and the importance of refilling drinks before they lay empty for 20 minutes on end Read more
We went to have a birthday dinner. It was a nice atmosphere. I asked for an apple-tini and it had to made with brandy, but it... was so good and went down so smoothly! The food was amazing, each dish was delicious and unique. The chef has a daily dozenmenu, and if you're lucky enough to catch it, it's delicious! Our waiter was a gem and very knowledgeable in the menu, which wassuch a huge help. The tables were small for the over sized plates, glasses, and menus. Read more
Fresh and flavorful! Maybe not what you think of when considering authentic Cajun cuisine, but definitely inspired by those same... timeless classics. The food was great, service was friendly, even the martinis were fantastic and the bread pudding was perfect. Read more
