So we were looking for something to eat in Buellton, and after two failed attempts (one restaurant was out of our favorite dish... and the other was closed), we stumbled into this place at the Albertson's shopping center. We were so hungry and we just wentfor it and boy did we eat good! I ordered the Torta de carne al pastor and an horchata to drink The serving size is perfectfor the cost of the food and it came with chips on the side. The chips are perfect to scoop the food that falls out of thetorta. There is plenty of filling in the torta so trust me, food will squeeze out. The restaurant's atmosphere is not thegreatest, and there are no servers. You order your food at the counter and it is taken to your table semi fast food style.However, the staff kept on checking on us making sure we were enjoying our food and we had all that we needed. So between thefriendly staff, the few Mexican decor, and the great food; it's enough to keep me wanting to go back for more. I think I justfound my new favorite spot to eat in Buellton. Read more
Amazing variety and so delicious horchata. We tried their special chimichanga, the vegetarian version and were not disappointed.... The service was good and well taken care of. The guac and salsa was all fresh and that is how I measure my Mexican food. So, agood 5 on 5. The rates are good and they have ample parking space right outside. Read more

Was served with complimentary tortilla chips, but were cold. Had an assortment of sauces to self-serve. Veggie burrito was good... with just warm tortilla (not well toasted). The only other vegetarian option was Quesadilla. Wont recommend this to a vegetarianif you're looking for a lot of options. Read more
I had to visit Buellton for something that was not available where I am at 25 miles away. I thought I would to of my visit with... some dinner. I'm very happy to say that I picked the right spot. I love good Mexican food and since I have a medical conditionthat is quite severe when it comes to eating I have to be very careful because I could end up in the hospital. I ordered the 1item Combo plate of Potato Taquitos Rice and Beans. I don't drink much of anything that is carbonated so I thought I would trytheir Cucumber and Lime Fresh drink. The place is Sparkling ? clean and the staff is super friendly and sweet! I took a seatand one of the sweet gals brought me some complimentary Chips and my drink. They have a great Salsa Bar well stocjed with avariety of stiffen salsas and other goodies! (very clean) I loved the Potato Taquito because it was cooked just right, Notgreasy at all and the crunch was perfect.... to me that's 10 ???? ????. The refried beans and rice was also perfect. And theright kind of cheese! I actually ate one entire Taguito (because it was so good) and a 3rd of the rice and beans and boxed upthe rest for later!! If you are anywhere in the area of a Rudy's Mexican Restaurant I would highly recommend stony in for somegood food. The food was wonderful authentic and they have a salsa bar so you can serve yourself and there are at least 5 types of salsa to... choose from. All the tables were full when we got there it was Saturday about 6 PM maybe 15 minutes later we were able to geta table they are short staffed it seemed for how busy they were but their staff was very friendly. You have to ask for ice eventhough the drinks are self serve. All in all the food was wonderful and we will be going again :) I had the pastor nachos and myson had a special that was homemade corn tortilla tacos with shrimp and cheese and I can't remember what it was called but itwas delicious and our friend had the carnitas tostada we were all very happy with our meals they were delicious and plenty offood to take home for later.
