Great lounge to just chill. Bartenders are great, and very cool people. Order a Tipsy Elvis (Blue Hawaii) from Rose, the... bartender. She makes a good one. When I do come back, which is hopefully soon, this lounge is a perfect way to cap off thenight. This entire area, Buellton and Solvang, is my new favorite place in California to visit, and the Sidways Inn is a greatspot to stay at? Read more
No need for this to be a bar.... Make it more guestrooms with no expenses or management, just more hotel revenues. We stayed in... the guest room above this business and it was very loud all night long until well after midnight. We were told quiet hours wereafter 10p. We did fine but I could totally see other people having a big issue with the noise. Great hotel... Just not a greatfit to have this business at a hotel whatsoever. Read more
No stop in Buellton complete without stopping into Sideways lounge...famous for the movie "Sideways." It has been completely... remodeled. The word lounge is perfect for it for it has places with comfy sofas and chairs and even a lit fireplace. If youwant to rally up to the bar, no problem...U shape bar provides lots of opportunities to meet locals and visitors. Read more
Love the Sideways Lounge. Very convenient if staying at Sideways Inn or Flying Flags RV Park and Campground. Staff is friendly... and service is great. Although my apologies to the bartenders, I believe my math sucked on the tip and I owe you ???? But I'llmake it up next trip. Adding the Sausage trailer out front was a Win Win. Really a cool venue... I've driven by 100 times and didn't know it was here. As you walk up you are greeted by stunning looks of... a traditional pub from the exterior. The inside is a mix of pub and modern tones with a great mural and fireplace that showcasethe attention to detail of design and atmosphere created for a great unique central coast lounge. We had a few different oldfashioned's and they were made really well from their full bar.. They have an assortment of local brews and a sausage foodtruck on site for some really good unique bites. Great service too ... we went right when they opened at 3pm and it picked upquickly with locals and people staying at the hotel or camping nearby... Read more
Excellent selection of beverages, delicious and refreshing cocktails. Fantastic service thank you Jennie! Watching this woman... juggle multiple customers, create cocktails and serve them up quickly, without spilling a drop! Impressive! The lounge has aModern feel, yet there are cozy areas for privacy. I?d say the ambience is clean and welcoming. Whether you?re a local orsomeone staying at the adjacent RV park, this is a place you?ll want to visit. Read more
They have bar food now and it's good bar food! We got a sampling of mozzarella sticks, pretzel bites and wings. I got to try the... paloma which I could tell was good but wasn't my thing. I had two margaritas which were fantastic. Read more
