Churros are a major disappointment, as another reviewer ?Ethan? mentioned it?s like a naked churro, barely any sugar/cinnamon on... them. Everything else is great and service is good. But a couple years ago many EPL I go to started SPRINKLING the sugar insteadof a full immersion of sugar/cinnamon that completely coats the churro. Everyone knows that?s how a great churro is made. Butapparently EPL went on the cheap. I?ve emailed corporate about this issue and never a response. But I was told by the staff Icould request for them to add more sugar mixture each time - why should I have to do that? And I hate to go thru that hasslewith the employees translating to the ?churros person? what I want. So unnecessary - just make them like you used to. That?s whyI NEVER buy churros anymore. I am a Loco Rewards member and I visit EPL a lot and everything else is very good. Just do yourselfa favor and avoid the disappointment of the ?naked churro?!! Read more
It would be top-tier if the food had a more freshly cooked taste instead of recently reheated, but at the end of the day it's... simply a fast food restaurant with okay Mexican flavor. Read more

Friendly staff. Great way that its set up so that 2 people can get salsa at the same time. Negative is that they don't have the... Mexican rice with cinnamon juice that most all other Pollo Loco's carry. Read more
