Great experience here today. Was our first time stopping by here for a family event . It was a party around 60 people we came... with . I believe our servers were Briana and Julie. I have been looking forward to visitig this restaurant for a while. I love Argentinean cuisine. As I arrived with my wife we... were impressed by the beauty of the architecture you can tell there was a lot of thought and attention to detail. Inside wefound a lot of the same impressive beauty and the layout of the restaurant was wonderful. When it comes to service our serverwas cordial enough, seemed to know the menu really well but lacked a bit of warmth. It left me and my family feeling like hewasn't enjoying what he was doing too much. We ordered drinks I got to say that's where this restaurant truly shined for metonight. The drinks were really tasty and perfectly balanced. Now let's talk food. This is a fine establishment so when it comesto your expectation of them using some of the best ingredients you won't be disappointed. You truly feel that every item on yourplate was made of the finest quality ingredients they could find. The disappointing part was in the taste of some of the dishes(especially the steak) it had a strong taste of charcoal so much so that it robbed the steak of its natural flavors. Honestlyall you tasted was charcoal. The chicken was unfortunately a bit flavorless for me it needed a bit more salt or some kind ofseasoning. We also had the steak milanesa which is breaded meat with ham and cheese on top. Unfortunately my dinner was broughtabout 10 minutes after the rest of my family and it was cold. For the good parts my wife had a choripan that tasted really good.My father had a pasta with sausage I am not sure of the name but it was absolutely delicious probably the best of everything ourtable ordered. Oh yes! Don't let me forget to mention the dessert we ordered el gran final which included all their availabledesserts. This was an absolute highlight of the night we couldn't get enough. This is my second time coming to Gaucho Grill with family and friends and I give this place five stars ???????????????? ???? .I... had the rack of lamb medium rare and I must say I was blown away with delicious mouth watering flavor, cooked to perfection andthe portion was perfect.( order the full rack)I even had take out for lunch the next day. If you're going on the weekend, bestif you make reservations because if you don't....you will wait awhile. The service was very good and friendly. Entirely underwhelming. The space is large, modern, and full of promise, with a huge open kitchen-ish area displaying racks of... smoked (smoking?) meats, as well as a big and well appointed patio. Great for large parties, yep. But the acoustics in thisplace is NUTS! I'd heard from other friends in the past that this place was pretty loud, but I assumed they'd gone when it waspacked. I went on a Thursday evening, the restaurant wasn't even half full, and I could hardly hear friends speaking from twoseats down. As for the food, well...not our favorite. We ordered a handful of salads, appetizers, nd pastas, along with a mixedgrill platter to share. The portions were great, but the meat in the combination platter was SO overcooked. We flagged down ourserver, who was quite sweet about it, and she offered to bring us out a new platter, "But can you girls put all your meat backon the platter so that I don't get in trouble?" I get the logic, but it was a strange feeling, as if we might be suspected ofsending food back to score a free refill or something. And why would our server get in trouble when the cooks/platers in thekitchen were to blame? Anyway, the replacement platter was cooked to medium, as we'd requested from the start. Perhaps we'd lostour appetite during the wait, but everything was just okay. We ended up with a ton of leftovers that no one really wanted totake home. Oh, and though we'd originally intended to do birthday cake there, we decided to leave asap and do cake at Starbucksnext door, because it was getting quite frustrating trying to hear each other talk over the roaring din in the restaurant. Got a gaucho burger and seasonal lemonade. The burger was good, though the patty is a bit too thick for my personal tastes.... Decent atmosphere but the loud music killed it a bit. I REALLY like the sauces that came with the complimentary bread! Overall,it's a nice trendy restaurant. Read more
Food was great and filling. Customer service was on point. Environment was very comfortable. And the bartender did well with the... lemon drop drinks we had. Prices are a bit high but there was a happy hour menu for drinks and food alike that was half offnormal price. And happy hour was all day and evening long. 5 stars from me. Good place t take a date.
