The ?medium rare? steak looks like a sad raw meat. Chewy and tasteless could not even eat it. Mashed potatoes looked and felt... like it was digested by an animal and thrown at your plate. It is freakin mashed potato how can you make it so gross - felt likeit was made of starch because it did not taste like real potato. The only thing was edible was chicken. If you've ever seen the 1986 film The Fly all I have to tell you is the scene where Jeff Goldblum cooks the two steaks after ... teleporting them. The teleported steak looks like it tasted better. I have never refused to eat after ordering, let alonerequest a refund. The staff was kind and quick to help but unfortunately the food was way below par. You would be better offpicking up the cheapest frozen dinner at your local grocery store. Sorry to the staff but this chain of restaurant need majorhelp. I haven't been to a sizzler in ages. When i was in the area and saw it, i decided i had to visit. I ordered the salmon which... disappointingly only came with one side. I chose the baked potato. The baked potato was more exciting than the salmon. Althoughcooked to perfection, the salmon was a bit bland. A blackened salmon or a salmon with any seasoning would have been better. Iwas with my significant other and our daughter. They both ordered the all-you-can-eat salad. After looking at the salad bar, ikind of wish i had too. The salad bar looked incredible and loaded with good food. Sizzler was great. The people were awesome.The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because I feel like the salmon (and I'm assuming other entrees) are purposely madebland with little to no seasoning. Read more
Got here when they just opened for lunch on a Friday. Ordered the unlimited salad bar. It is $13.99 Mondays to Fridays and... $15.99 weekends. Did not get offered cheese toast. Service was mostly good. Restaurant is clean and in order. They are out ofwings for the time being so they temporarily replaced it with unlimited mini hot dogs and unlimited chicken nuggets. Would benice if they had unlimited chicken tender bites instead. That'd be a nice temporary replacement. The salad bar was yum. Theyhad build your own salad and a few pre-made salads like macaroni salad, tuna pasta salad(sooo yummmmm), spinach salad, potatosalad then the hot bar had chicken nuggets, mini corn dogs, tortilla chips, 3 different proteins; steak fajitas, carnitas, andground beef, spaghetti with meatballs, mac and cheese, and hot tortillas. Salsa and guac are in the salad bar section. All inall, great lunch and it was quick! A few parties came after me and left. I stayed for a while and enjoyed every dish there was. Yum yum in tum tum! I definitely prefer this location over Fullerton. It's much nicer and very well kept. Service is wayyyybetter! Good job Buena Park. I see now why you have such high ratings! Read more

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn and just walked over here for dinner. I think we made a mistake by getting a meal and the buffet... with it as that is just too much food. So, I would just get the salad bar next time. The server never refilled my drink, whichdefinitely made me regret buying a drink at all, plus I was thirsty. The food was ok and I always love buffets because you cantake the things that you like and everyone in your party can usually find something they like (i.e. less complaining). :-) Read more
This is one of the few restaurants I actually can say that I've been amazed with their service!!! The waiters are very attentive... and caring. Chris and Raul are the most friendly and always are on top on everything. Tapping off the beverages to offeringadditional plates, napkins etc etc etc. Am extremely happy with their service that I am making this Sizzler my number one togo dine in place!
