Don't come here on a budget, folks, but *DO* come here! The decor is opulent but not overbearing, the service was top notch, and... the food was *excellent!* If you like oysters, the ones I had were among the best I've tasted, sweet & mildly nutty with asqueeze of lemon. The chops are, of course, the draw here & they were prepared beautifully. I'd be remiss if I didn't shout outthe mushrooms, which were a lovely side dish you shouldn't miss. Read more
Amazing place for a special dinner. My husband highly recommends the lamb chops and I can vouch for the superbly dry-aged... fillet. Excellent service by staff, especially our awesome waitress who provided recommendations helpfully. Drinks (both wineand cocktails) were beautifully balanced (try The Gentleman Fig!!!). Love the atmosphere and location. Yes, it is expensive, butit is fine dining. Worth every penny!!! Read more
Absolutely amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Our Server Everett was awesome and made our honeymoon dinner splendid. The... hostess was super accommodating, and the manager stopped over to wish us a happy honeymoon. We will definitely be back. Our newfavorite restaurant in WNY! The food is incredible, and the wait staff is very helpful and kind. Went on a Thursday night and was seated promptly at my... reservation time. The oysters were small for what I expected, but they tasted fresh. The steak was cooked perfectly rare and thesear on the outside was perfect. I honestly have no complaints. Upscale restaurant downtown. Lovely interior and great service. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection, and was incredibly juicy... and flavorful. My wife enjoyed the lamb chops as they were flavorful but just a little too much char for her. Mashed potatoeswere creamy with an amazing airy texture. The cheesecake was rich and very tasty. Started with a Caesar salad, which was justonly okay. Make sure to bring your wallet though, because this place is fairly pricey.
