Food was fabulous!!!!! Must try the buffalo chicken taco. Wing sauce fabulous. The fresh guacamole- one of the best I've ever... tasted. Oooo- chips yummy, too! Spicy Margarita! Delicious!! Such a fun time at a great new spot downtown. It was my first time coming here and I already can?t wait to come back. Upon... entering I couldn't help but notice that the space was bright, happy, colorful and cozy. They made great use of a smaller space.It reminded me of a chic NYC layout. If you come during dinner rush you might have to wait for a seat. It shouldn't be too long,this is a fast casual ish kind of spot with the perks of a really cute bar. The staff was very helpful and attentive. They madesure to clean up the dining room so new guests could be seated quickly. Now for the food, I went with a friend and we lovedthe menu. It was a mix of traditional Latin ingredients and dishes and also some Buffalo/ American ingredients prepared inMexican style dishes. Def a neat way to present the food and a great way to make sure there was something for everyone. We bothordered the house margarita with Loganberry. Wow, this was awesome. Not too sweet, just enough loganberry to cut the acid of thelime, add some flavor and beautiful color. We had the chips and salsa, which was wonderful. The chips were freshly fried andcrisp, the perfect amount of salt. We chose the pico salsa, fresh and bright, and the tomatillo, just enough spice to make itinteresting. For my taco I had the carnitas, very nice portion, juicy and great flavor. I was still hungry so I ordered thebirria ramen, wonderful, savory and complex flavor with the right amount of spice. I loved the play on the traditional birria ina bowl of ramen. The only thing I'll say is that the taco and birria were quite salty. The flavors were on point but less saltwould have made them perfect. I'm sure things are being worked out in the kitchen since they are new and this won't deter mefrom coming back again soon. So many other great menu items I'd like to try like the chorizo, Chivetta chicken and mushroomtacos. Pro tip: Every Tuesday is taco Tuesday, $1 off tacos! Read more
If you're looking for a place where they love tacos and love Buffalo equally, Hombre y Lobo is your place! Ryan and Isaac are... great, and Christina is one of the coolest bartenders around. The drinks and the food are fresh and delicious, and therestaurant is gorgeous. Check them out anytime, but make sure to check them out before or after a baseball game this Spring! I'll live to regret giving a great review for Hombre y Lobo because I'll never get a seat again! But they are a new restaurant... bar and the food was delicious and the drinks were great. Ordered via Uber eats for pick up and had the Buffalo chicken tacos. They were $5.50 each which seems a little overpriced but it... is what it is. The tacos were good and though the Buffalo sauce flavor on the chicken was a little drowned out with all theother things on the taco (blue cheese and the toppings), it was a delicious. Read more
