Is it weird to admit that I?m still thinking about the jerk chicken tacos I found last week at the farmer?s market? Since I am... in good company I feel like sharing my confession is safe here ???? I came across this local husband and wife duo at theHamburg Farmer?s market. This food option is a new at this market and I learned that this couple owns a brick and mortar shopdowntown and lives in Hamburg. The wife was offering samples, which we can never refuse, and we were in awe of her flavorful,not to spicy, juicy and delicious Jamaican Jerk chicken. We did a lap around the market but were quickly drawn back over toorder some tacos for an early lunch. The prices were very reasonable $5 for 1 and $13 for 3 and the portions were generous. Thetacos had a very fresh soft corn shell, crispy yet soft. The chicken was just as delicious as the sample that drew us in andthe toppings included arugula, queso fresco, fresh and juicy mango salsa balsamic drizzle and some corn chips on the side. Thetacos were a nice size but weren?t huge. We realized there was a good amount of boneless skinless chicken thighs, my absolutefavorite, in each. And the chips added a nice crunch and were the perfect way to pick up any leftover taco stragglers. Wedevoured everything and were pretty full. The tacos and many of their other menu items are gluten free which is a huge plus. Ineed to check out their store front soon because I?m sure their other offer it?s are just as good as these tacos! Finally had a chance to order food here, and I really enjoyed it. I ordered the rice bowl (jerk) and the portion was huge. The... jerk chicken is very spicy, and the mango salsa topping complimented the dish. My wife ordered the crab cakes(comes with 2).Crab cakes was ok, they would've been out of this world if it had more crab than stuffing. But the sauce was great. Next was thetacos (3), she had chicken (jerk), shrimp, and steak. All was very good and packed with filling. You can't go wrong when you usereal corn tortilla shells.
