This place is really hit or miss. I work downtown and ordered lunch frequently from here when they first opened but the... inconsistencies pushed me away and I ordered less and less. I sporadically give them a try again and each time I'm disappointed.Sometimes the chicken for the salads is fresh and hot and juicy other times it's dry and hard and seems old. On a good day theMac salad is outstanding but on a bad day it has a funky taste which makes in inedible. I ordered lunch today via the website at11am for 12pm pick up, ordered the chicken Parm sandwich with Mac salad as my side and onion rings in the event that the Mac wassketchy. They forgot the Mac salad, the onion rings are fine def frozen but fine, and the chicken Parm sandwich was so sloppyand messy with subpar chicken and I'm throwing away over half of the entire lunch. It's unfortunate because lunch spots arelimited downtown and this place is close and quick but the quality and inconsistencies aren't worth it for me. Read more
Not sure if this place is better for dinner or not, but my wife and I went there for lunch. I ordered manicotti and my wife... ordered a burger and fries. My food was lukewarm, and my wife?s fries were cold. Her burger was good she said. I expected alittle more given the reviews Read more
Great lunch! I ordered the meatball parm sandwich. I really appreciated that the meatballs and sauce were not overdone with... seasoning. The seasoning complemented rather than dominated. The sandwich comes with a pickle spear and a choice of potato salador macaroni salad. I chose the latter. The mac salad was very tasty. My biggest pleasure was the dill pickle. It was terrific -crunchy and not overwhelmed by the spices or vinegar. It was more akin to the store-bought Clausen brand pickle. Well done! Read more
Absolutely amazing food and service, if I could give this 5.1 stars, I would. For an appetizer, I had the BEST garlic bread I?ve... ever eaten in my life. For my entree, I had a perfectly done fish fry with coleslaw, mac salad and perfectly crispy frenchfries. I absolutely annihilated both plates given to me. We had the pleasure of meeting the assistant manager by the name ofNicholas, and I was absolutely blown away by his warm greeting and professionalism. I stopped in here the other day and I'm glad that I did! The staff was friendly, and the whole place was spotless. If you?re downtown looking for lunch, would recommend giving it a try. Grabbed takeout for lunch. I had the falafel wrap, which... was solid for a non-Mediterranean spot. Friends had the eggplant parm sandwich and spaghetti with meatballs. They both lovedthem but said the meatballs were a little salty.
