4 stars for a 5 star opportunity. Could so easily have been 5 stars. A star was lost for the 45 minute wait between appetizers... and entrees. The food the ambience and the staff were excellent. Hard to get reservations, probably due to its small size and the great food. The bruschetta special, with chicken and artichoke... hearts was so good! The chicken cutlets were tender and moist, as was the pork tenderloin. The steamed vegetables were at justthe right tender-crisp stage, and the cranberry sauce with Grand Marnier was excellent. Staff was attentive, and are to becommended; when our server, Elijah, was busy at another table, other staff assisted us with a couple of small matters. Can'twait until our next visit. Read more

We dined here for my fiancé's birthday dinner- overall impression was good, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The food was... quality and you could tell it was made fresh. Each order was also a generous portion which you don't always see at higher endrestaurants. If there had to be one "complaint" for the evening, it did take longer than expected for each course to arrive,however the server checked in with us frequently and our drinks were never empty. Our dinner took just over 2 and a half hourswhich we didn't mind, but an observant nonetheless. I would come back for sure, there was several other menu items I would haveliked to try. Read more

Well I've been coming here for I dunno 30 years. Love it. Never had a bad experience. Staff from bar to table awesome..friendly... accommodating..menus been the same forever. I look forward to the specials but our last visit was a little lacking. The stuffedportabello was absolutely delicious. The carrot pappdelle..which is my favorite wasn't all that great unfortunately. And halibutwas cooked perfectly but not really flavorful. But in the end will definitely come back. One of my favorite restaurants. Read more

A local institution that never fails to impress in terms of the food or the hospitality of it's staff. The outdoor patio... transports you into a lovely oasis in the middle of Buffalo. The food is mostly Italian with a twist. We had a stuffedportobello mushroom as an appetizer which came with a lovely sauce. I had the eggplant which was great. We didn't have room fordessert but the people in a table next to ours did and it looked and smelled great. Read more

We went to Left bank for Mother?s Day as it is one of my daughter?s favorite restaurants. It did not look like a place that I... would enjoy as I am a very basic eater. However, I was pleasantly surprised as everything was spectacular. Our waiter Devon wasso friendly and accommodating. Everything was timed perfectly and he met all our wants and needs. I had one of the specials andit was one of the better things I?ve eaten in a long time. There were three of us mothers at the table and we were all happy.Highly recommend Read more

So very glad we found this gem! We drove from Niagara since we couldn't find a place to our liking (Canadian border is still... closed due to Covid). Was worth the drive! All the dishes were fabulous! Even the homely chicken cutlet! We particularlyenjoyed the fact that all dishes came with ample amount of perfectly paired and prepared vegetables!
