Great place for sushi but menu online needs to be updated to reflect increased prices.

Always enjoyed the sushi here, everything I ever had tasted so fresh. Now due to covid, your no longer able to eat inside. So... everything now is takeout. They actually created a takeout window for you, so you can pick up your food. Read more

These rolls were so delicious! These are the best sushi rolls I've had in buffalo and my favorite aspect is that the menu is... super clear. If you have food allergies, this is the sushi place for you as it's easy to see what is in each roll and they aretaking safety and health seriously. In regard to COVID-19, they have a whole set up that is super impressive with window pickup. Can't wait to order from here again soon! Read more

Best lunch deal in town! Great sushi and even better for the price at lunch! Cute little spot. Simple and small on the inside.... Can get busy but worth it. Hard to find good sushi not being on the coast, but this gets the job done. Love it here Read more

This is hands down one of my favorite sushi places anywhere. It feels traditional, casual, authentic. It's affordable and... high-quality. I've been to restaurants that feel much fancier and are much more expensive, and I prefer this every time. It's asmall storefront on a busy strip, intimate, cozy, sparsely adorned with traditional, simple Japanese decor. Great for couples orsmall groups. It's also one of the only restaurants that I go to where I feel completely comfortable dining solo. Whether you'relocal or visiting Buffalo, if you like sushi you definitely have to go here. Awefull service, they refused to let me pay over the phone for a pick up order. I explained that my best friend was picking up... the food instead of me, as I wasn't near and she was on her way to me. I was told no, and that since the food was already made Iwasn't allowed to cancel my order. I explained the circomstances to no avail. They expected me to drive 45 mins from LockportNY to Buffalo because of thier no paying over the phone policy, when my best friend lives near Delaware Park. It was a Thursday, and I had already driven 45mins to and from my office in downtown Buffalo. I was put on a "no serve list" simply because my bestfriend, to no fault of her own, was having an awefull week financially. I discovered I was on this list when I ordered lunch formy entire office, I used my phone to make the order, completely unaware of this list. I had a nice conversation with the ladythat took the call, I made the order and was told 20mins. I drove the 10mins from my office to Wasabi, with my phone, & I hadn'tmissed a single phone call, I checked! I sat in the car and waited 10mins, so I wasn't hovering in the rather small dinning areaWasabi has, then go in to be told that my 5 meal order was not made, and would not be made as I am on a "no serve list." Themeal was about $50 I had $100 cash with me, I explained that this was for my entire office, not just me, that 4 other peoplewould be effected by this policy. They refused, absolutely refused, to even consider making my coworker's and Boss' meal, evenwith me offering to pay them double the order in cash! Now, I hate it when people make a scene, I absolutely do! But simplybecause I am not the loud type doesn't mean I wasn't or am not upset! So I left quietly, but I want to make it clear that I amhaving my family attorney review the legality of the no pay over the phone policy, and it's subsequent no serve policy, as bothfeel rather discriminatory, and disparaging against the less fortunate among us.
