Great place if you have dogs to take for a walk, they have a nice area with green grass and lots of shade. Unlike the state... rest areas where they don't provide any grassy areas for pets to take a walk, usually it's just tough dry grass and rocks ifyour lucky. Read more

I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment and the friendliness of the folks working the counter. The... bathrooms too were very clean?thank you! However, upon returning to our car we were shocked to realize our car battery wascompletely dead! My husband (after a couple of tries to get it started) went back inside the gas station, and came out a fewminutes later with one of the the employees who pulled her own BIG (personal) truck right next to our car, busted out her jumpercables, and gave us a jump start. BECKY (the most awesome employee ever!!) not only saved the day, but refused to let us tipher in cash. She instead sent us on our way with a smile, a wish that the rest of our trip went without incident, and to have agreat day.?-We were so, SO blessed by her kindness that I cannot tell you how wonderful that made our day and prevented asituation that could have been a lot worse. In this world where there are plenty of folks out there who like to complain orpoint out problems, it was a pleasure (and a great example for our young daughter traveling with us) what kindness fromstrangers looks and feels likes again. BECKY is the reason folks (including us) will come back to your clean and courteousMaverik gas station in Buffalo, WY. Bought gas (no problem, 5 stars), used restroom (very clean, 5 stars). Had trouble finding a lid to fit our coffees. Asked a... worker, she said they were all guaranteed to fit. I returned to the coffee station and there were more of the same lids she hadmade available. Again tried several, different approaches, and thought maybe I just wasn't doing it right. Got the lids onsort of, mashing around all edges. As soon as my husband took the coffee from my hand the lid came off and spilled half of hotcoffee on him and the car. Rude worker, bad outcome. Get some better lids. Coffee should never be this hard. . Read more
Gas was priced well, clean windshield cleansers and wipes, air for tires (working) and nice shaded over fuel pumps and picnic... tables. 15 mins later, husband just told me: Air pump was not working. Some seal was missing, letting more air out then in. Andwe still got charged $1.50. Read more
