We drove 30 minutes from Abilene to Buffalo Gap and tried the infamous Perini Ranch Steak. Spoiler alert! - It was amazing.... Perini's prices are high but worth it. We had quail (around $15) as an appetizer. Both our stakes were delicious and cooked toperfection ($98 for both). The meat was fresh, and our waiter did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Perini to friendsand family. Read more

This is by far the best steakhouse I have ever been to. Maybe a little crazy going to a steak house and ordering a burger but it... was the most amazing thing I have ever had. We had a 5pm reservation and the place was already full and bustling with energy themoment we walked in. We had a short wait on the back patio which was absolutely beautiful. Several picnic table areas outside. It's hot in Texas in June but it was shady and not bad at all. We were seated in the main dining area and had a very attentivewaitress. Everything was delicious and worth every penny! Read more

Place was awesome! I had the crispy chicken sandwich and it was delicious. My friends had the steak and loved it. The jalapeño... bites were very good and you get a good portion. The prices were very fair. I recommend 100% Read more

Our table had a really nice view. Parking was plentiful. Got the quail legs appetizer, was delicious. The strawberry shortcake... was recommended by the server, but I didn't love it. We also got the bread pudding to go and that was delish. The cowboypotatoes and asparagus were on point! Almost tempted to get a vegi plate when coming back. The ranch is delishious, they shouldsell it in larger quantities! In my opinion the prices are a little steeper than they need to be, but if you want it you'll payfor it. I didn't care for the ribs, only because with the rub I felt the sauce was needed and I prefer no sauce. But they werecooked amazingly, super tender and juicy. The service was great! She kept our drinks filled, table bussed, and had a greatattitude. If I had to pick one pet peeve, if you ask me if I want something, tell me if it's going to cost me. I don't likesurprises on my bill. Will definetly be back whenever we visit the flea market. Read more

Ambience can be an equally important aspect to the quality of food experience. I found Perini Ranch Steakhouse to be an... authentic, rustic Texas dining experience with exceptional food and drink selections. The Perini Ranch stories and recipesshared during our dinner added to our dining ambience. First time to visit and definitely won't be the last. Started the evening with a couple of Harvest Moon cocktails while waiting... on the back porch. Once our table was ready, Brianna (??sp) was top notch, providing the best hospitality. The bone-in ribeye, dusted shrimp, grilled mushroom and onions, cowboy potatoes, and grilled asparagus were all perfectly prepared, well seasonedand deliciously complementary to each other. The Texas chocolate cake was served just the way your grandma would've done it.Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Read more

Perini is a Ranch that offers lodging and delicious meat. The dining room looks like a barn it is surrounded by trees and land .... It has A/C and farm settings! We were visiting Abilene, Texas, and Perini was only 25 minutes from downtown. The staff is superfriendly they talked to us and treat us well. The food was outstanding. We got bone in strip , Ribeye and quail legs. The steakwas as we ordered and so juice. To resume how our steaks were, there is a simple word: "just perfect." It was the first time wehad quail legs, and they taste like chicken. The crust was well seasoned, and it added a lot of good flavors to the quail legs. This ranch raise their own cows, and the food is approved by the FDA. Finally , we got the most popular dessert, which it wasperini's bread pudding. I would definitely I will eat it again; it was so delicious and unique. Read more
