Went there with my dad for the first time. Worst experience ever! I was seated facing towards the host and what looked like the... owner as well. He would sit at a table and whenever a new group of guests came in he immediately rolled his eyes and shakes hishead as if it?s inconveniencing him to get customers in a restaurant. I got the taco salad and it tasted disgusting and when thehost/ owner walked up to our table, after i had taken a few bites, he told me he had run to the dollar store to get the saucethat he put in my taco salad. Immediately lost my appetite After that information and we left. Very upsetting experience. Read more

Excellent service. Very pleasant host. Waitress was prompt, and cheerful. All the staff were smiling and bustling about. Food... was as I remembered. This was an awful experience. The restaurant was dirty the bathrooms were absolutely atrocious. The food was terrible. We... both ordered the grand Taco salad with beef. There was no beef, the taco shell was very cold. The salsa was sitting on a counterin their kitchen wirh out any wrap on it. The chips were full of oil and salt, they were so greasy my husband tried wrappingthem up to get the grease off to no avail. We paid the bill without eating . Told our serve how awful it was. She still broughtthe entire bill out didn't apologize nothing. Strongly recommend not going here ever. Read more

This was a very unfortunate experience. I have always loved On The Border, however my experience at this particular location was... subpar, to say the least. Staff was friendly and nice, overall. Food was barely palatable. I understand the ?lack of workers?but this should not affect the quality of food I have come to expect from this franchise. Gotta love the fresh tortillas at On the Border in Buford. We usually go at lunch time while out with real estate clients.... Andrea was our serve this time and she was friendly and attentive. The restaurant just felt it seemed dirty. The front doorswere covered in finger prints. I opened my menu and 2-3 chips feel out. The food was delicious but the environment wasn?t greatfor us. What I love about this place is the consistent amount of pride they take in their product. This would be my 3rd time ever... ordering from this restaurant. We came here on a Friday around 1:30 pm. It wasn?t that busy, but they were very short-staffed. Casey was our server (and he was... bartending). He did an excellent job and was very friendly. The strawberry shaker drink was much bigger than expected anddelicious. The appetizer shrimp was spicier than expected but good. The lunch chimichanga was good; however, it has always comewith lettuce, sour cream tomatoes, and guacamole at every location I?ve ever gotten it at. I asked for some sour cream becausethere was none. I was charged 99 cents. In my opinion, no side should ever cost more than 50 Cent; however, in this case, thereshould be no charge because it should be included as part of the meal. The rice had excellent flavor but it was hard so it waseither undercooked or dried out. The beans were watery. The chips were stale or undercooked. We got empanadas to go that weredelicious. I came for the tres leches cake . I was super disappointed. I had to send the first slice back because it looked like it had... been dropped. The second slice that is shown here was not any better. It was dirty looks like it's not covered properly in therefrigerator there was debris all over it..I took one bite and it was horrible. The two stars are for the good customer serviceand the veggie taco I had. It was not the best. It did not have any type of Mexican flavor. The rice and beans looked dry andnot fresh..I also had a shrimp taco. It was ok. They were mediocre at best. I will never return here ever again. Read more
