We love the baby back ribs here. The rack that my daughter got tonight did not have enough meat on it but my husband’s was... constant with their quality that we get everytime. There were a couple of things that were missed - they forgot to put thepulled pork in the pulled pork meal order, the bacon substitute, and the garlic bread- but they took immediate action andcorrected it. My family and I were driving by and decided to stop by and try this place. The food was good but Dot our server was AMAZING! She... was very friendly, attentive and so sweet! She definitely made the experience memorable. If we were locals, we would come backand ask for here on a regular. Read more
Let me start by saying at this Buford Georgia location Ms Dot Is the epitome of a server Sonny's should be thrilled and happy to... have her and should be giving her top pay scale for their corporation. She was on point with everything from drinks to food tochecking to make sure we were okay. Never had to ask her a question about anything or to get anything for us. She was the bestwe've ever seen at Sonny's BBQ. Not only was the service the best ever but the food, the ribs sides everything was excellent andon point at this location I highly recommend coming here and sitting in Ms Dot Section . Not the best BBQ joint in the south, but it's also not the worst. They have a variety of sauces and meat to choose from. Overall... it's a decent place to eat. Quiet and clean. Read more
Pretty bad experience we had tonight. Went with a group of friends to eat at this location and our orders were all messed up.... One of my friends order we found plastic in his meat. My other three friends got the wrong order. Then another friends ordernever came to our table. Most of the meat were undercooked and a lot of red meat was served. My burger didn’t have anythingelse but the meat and the buns when I asked for the Sonny’s steak burger with fries and mac and cheese on the side. They hadto remake it at the end and when they brought my fries they were seasoned with a handful of salt. Overall a very disappointingservice and the way they tried resolving the issue wasn’t satisfactory or professional. Read more
This Sonny’s location is head and shoulders above the location in Marietta. Starting with the server, Jacob, the whole... experience of eating here was wonderful. When Sonny’s barbecue is at its best it is some of the best anywhere. I had thepulled and sliced pork, fries (hot out of the fryer) and coleslaw with garlic toast.Both types of pork were full of flavor andnot fatty. Sonny’s sliced pork is really good when they render all of the fat off of it leaving flavorful pinkish-red meat.Theother location tends to not smoke it as it should be and it is always very fatty with less flavor, hardly eatable. So thisSonny’s gets it right, like it did originally. I can appreciate a well run establishment and the manager here is obviouslyquite good at what he does. I don’t know why there’s 1 star reviews but this place slaps! It’s damn good. I had the baby back ribs and my friend had a... sampler and both were superb. Alec our server went above and beyond with excellent customer service, we even told him we werestarved from hiking all day up in the Appalachian trail and he got the food for us faster, last time I have been served thisfast and courteous was in Peru in 2019. Give this old school bbq place a try cuz I’ll be definitely coming back! Read more
