Four of us went for dinner on Saturday, July 2. My wife and I had a salad and the seafood dinner, which was 4 shrimp, a shrimp... cake, which was mainly cake, and risotto. An absolute joke, but a huge money maker for the owner! Nothing is priced on the menuand they don't give you an itemized check, just a total, for obvious reasons!! Never again! The owner doesn't get it per hisresponse. Customers want an itemized bill BEFORE they pay $400.00 so they know what they're being charged for!! And the seafoodcake was definitely not 100% seafood! My husband and I are never disappointed as whatever we order is wonderful. The meals I order almost always come with lentils... which I love. The portions are large, the Wait Staff is Terrific and when they have their Piano Player, I could sit there forhours. I love going there over the Christmas Holidays which we've not been able to do for the past two years. As we will bemoving out of state shortly, we will definitely make a reservation for one last time. Whenever we are back in Georgia we willmake a reservation. Read more

The food is not worth the price at all and our waiter had a snide attitude. It took us 45 minutes to get our food. Finally, when... my husband received his entrée he didn’t even like it whatsoever. To say something positive we did enjoy the escargot and wedid like the music. To the owner who replied. We had shared with the waiter that we were Italian and originally from the NewYork/New Jersey area. He looked amused, then he proceeded to speak in a fictitious Italian voice poking fun at us and ourheritage while calling out to the chefs with our order…it was very off-putting, to say the least... Our favorite "Fancy" dining restaurant. Chef Chris always impresses us with his creations. Top quality ingredients crafted by a... world class Chef. The menu changes often due to sourcing in season edibles. The Sperata house salad is always available. One ofmy many favorites. Beautiful environment in historic downtown Buford, Georgia. This meal was unlike anything I have ever tasted in my entire life. If I can give 10 stars I would. This restaurant should be... somewhere in downtown Atlanta because it’s a true hidden gym. I feel as though they could charge more money if they wanted tobecause the food is worth more than what they charge. The plating is good, the flavors are immaculate the place has the oldtimes romantic feel. It’s cozy the lights are dimmed . It’s just a sexy and romantic place. I've been here twice now and it's our new favorite local dinner spot for special occasions. The food is excellent, our cocktails... were delicious, the ambience of the place is cozy and romantic. The waiter checked on us all the time and we never felt rushedto leave. There's a piano player who plays off and on he is friendly and takes requests. At this recent visit we ordered thesmoked salmon appetizer, a rack of lamb, pork wellington and split dessert which was a toffee bread pudding with an ice creamscope and black coffees. It was amazing. Everyone working wore a face mask and we were sat apart from other guests. I highlyrecommend making a reservation be sure it's a tiny place and there's a parking lot next door and a parking deck a block over. Read more
