Combination of a nice restaurant, pub and bowling alley all in one building. Same food served at either restaurant but if you've... been out hiking or fishing all day and want good food without running home to shower and change, the pub side is perfect. Not many dining options in BS, but this is one of the better options. The quality used to be 5/5, but now it is sporadic. The... bang bang shrimp and Italian nachos are two amazing appetizers, but if you're looking for healthy options, there aren't manyoptions. Absolutely amazing every time we eat there! Staff, food, atmosphere is just PERFECT! In our older years cooking is not so much... fun since our kids are all grown and moved away. We love date night here every week and anytime we have guests visiting wealways bring them here. Ted, Cody, Brandi, Emma, Wendy and ALL the gang are ready and willing to be at your service. This is the 2nd time we have eaten here. The first time was a few years ago and I remembered that we really liked the... atmosphere, and the food was wonderful. This time was different. We overheard a quick discussion about who was going to be ourserver and apparently the female that was supposed to do so had gone outside. A gentlemen got our orders and was very nice andaccommodating. The food was just okay, not as great as we remembered. The art very interesting, the hostess obviously bored andwe heard someone yell from the reception area..."There are more than enough bathrooms here"... Very odd statement for anemployee to bellow out. Maybe next time will be better. Read more
This review is based of two different nights. The first night we went for prime rib. The service was good, but the food was... just OK. The escargot was delicious, and the berry tiramisu was phenomenal. However, the prime rib was just alright, there werepin bones in the walleye filet, and the mashed potatoes were terrible. The second night we came we sat in the bar area and itwas very busy. That being said, our server Savannah did an excellent job and she was very hard working! I have eaten here 3 times now over a 4 year period. Best food and atmosphere anywhere in the area. Highly recommend. The... loaded potato skins are huge, and absolutely delicious! I had a 10oz sirloin medium rare with steamed broccoli. Everything wasflavorful and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent as well. Read more
We have eaten here several times with groups. Always timely service and friendly servers. Almost anything on their menu is very... good and more about what the customer likes to eat. Very unusual art on the walls painted by one of the employees. All or forsale. Do yourself a favor and drop by for any meal. Read more
