I wanted to like this place more than I did. All the ingredients were there, a nice building, well done decor, and the food was... pretty darn good. It was the owner/manager hovering over the wait staff that really put me off. We sat down and got 4 pages ofmenus including the drinks list (which was sizable, but lacking in any bourbon or small label spirits.) We decided on a bottleof red wine, and after a strong push from the manager I ordered the ribeye, and my date ordered a mushroom truffle pizza. Thepizza was amazing, the steak was the size of my head (though a bit chewy for a rare steak). We came here on a Wednesday and it was empty which made us wonder, should we even eat here? Obviously we stayed and we weren?t... disappointed. They have really great options for seating, indoor, cool patio vibes and then a tented area. The restaurant islocated away from the busy part of Burbank so maybe why there was no one there. We ordered the ahi tuna tacos, burrata pizzaand truffle rigatoni pasta and shared everything between 2 people. Everything we ordered was really good. I loved that thepizza was thin crust but still crispy, pretty decent sized pizza with about 6 slices. Took the rest home. The pasta cookedperfectly al dente and was a good sized portion and who doesn?t love truffle. Was really stuffed but wasn?t walking awaywithout trying the honey cake. Had no reservations but they greeted us beautifully. It?s an upscale restaurant. Great ambiance and well presented food. Had 3... starters, two salads and 3main dishes. All very cooked and yummy. Food was delicious and we'll presented. They have an interesting menu and with no pictures we played it safe with a black... burger and shawarma wrap. They were both amazing. The atmosphere is "trendy" and upscale, but on a Sunday afternoon we werethe only ones in the restaurant for our hour there, I have no idea why. Read more
