We went last weekend and were sat immediately, but was given no menus. We waited about 20 minutes to get those. Keep in mind... there really weren?t a lot of tables full, maybe one large party. When a member of our party asked for his drink, the waiterLilly, just shook her head like ?we don?t have that here, which was very rude. She seemed to have an attitude most of the time.Once we ordered we waited for almost 45 minutes for our food, we didn?t order anything too crazy. Almost $20 dollars for aburger (that was over cooked) with only cheese on it was insane and for $21, I would expect more that 6 small sized friedoysters. I would not recommend. Read more
Sat outside and enjoyed a crab cake sandwich, and shrimp tacos, (but too much rice, too little shrimp.) Pleasant setting. Nice... waitress. The place needs a little TLC......signage hanging loose, general tidying up, refill the napkins on the table caddy,windows panes leaning against the building, with open walls where they had been,(our first impression ) We would give themanother try, but would loke to see a little more pride of ownership. Great waterfront dining! Food and views are superb. Had the soft-shell crab special, fresh as could be, cooked perfectly, and... meaty! Even the Blue Cheese Burger was amazing! Sorry about the picture of the empty steamers (this was one order) shells, butwe could not stop for a pic! Only downside, no bread to sop up the remaining liquid! Well worth a visit. Read more
Stopped to gas up. Waterside on the Wicomico river in the Northern Neck of VA. Several dining rooms including a deck overlooking... the river. Full bar too. Catch of the day was fresh rockfish. Ordered as fish and chips. Tender with the batter fried toperfection, and obviously actually fresh landed. Amazing. I often avoid fish cause too often fresh means unfrozen. There is nota lot of choices for restaurants there so try this one. Read more
Came here 4th of July weekend so naturally it was busy but service wasnt terribly slow. Our waitress April was great & very... friendly. The rockfish fish & chips was fall apart delicious. My friend had the crab cake sandwich & said it was really good.Hush puppies & crab dip for appetizers were gone in a flash. I'll be back for sure. The beach & tiki bar area looked like a lotof fun. So glad I took a chance on a new to me restaurant despite the mixed reviews I've been told. Read more
The hush puppies and the fish and chips were excellent and our server, Hannah, was wonderful as well! The crab cake was a bit on... the bland side. But the view was fantastic! Wish I could give 4.5 stars since the only thing keeping this from being 5 stars wasthe crab cake. Read more
We arrived by sailboat and enjoyed dinner on the patio. The food was delicious and drinks were delightful. We had an amazing... view of the sunset as we were leaving. Docking was easy and slips easy to get to. Read more
Such a lovely place. I used to go here as a child. Brought back many memories of the good old days!
