My experience here was 10/10. It was the best service i?ve ever had in a while. My server was Flor and she was excellent. I... asked her many questions about the menu and she was super helpful and ended up helping me pick out my whole meal. She was reallynice and checked up on me many times. The food was very warm and delicious and tasted so good. Ms. Jasmine, the nice lady whorefills coffee is a very sweet person. She always had a smile on her face and makes conversation when she can. Food was decent, after about 20 minutes of waiting they came back out to tell me my selection (pot roast) was not available and... to choose something else. Ordered the loaded mashed potatoes, just to find out it's just regular mashed potatoes....not surewhat the loaded part is about, no cheese or anything special added? Also felt bad for the young waiter, it was extremely busyand looks to be only him running around all night, which leads to drinks not being refilled and other small things. We always come to this location for the good food and atmosphere, but lately the service has been lacking. It takes flagging... someone down to get a refill for water or coffee. Then to get anything else no one comes and checks up on your table. The foodwasn't very well prepared, and lacked on toppings. Read more
It was gross my hot cakes were molded and soggy,and I didn?t even get my full order I will never go here again do better.
They have a generous offering of inexpensive food. There was an error on the menu I was given. The prices had gone up,... apparently. It was less than a dollar difference for my meal, so I did not fuss over it, but I brought it to their attention.They were polite enough about it, but probably should have offered to refund the small difference. Portion sizes seem to have shrunk, tiny drink glasses are annoying because of how long it takes to get refills, the fun syrups... are gone, and they seem woefully understaffed. My glass was filthy and had this weird film on the inside, and my pancakes platehad some kind of blue spot on it (like from a sprinkle?) under my *plain* pancake, maybe the dishie is underpaid. The manager(or owner?) was bussing tables the whole time. Maybe they are not offering high enough wages, maybe there's a lack of customers,who knows. Zero stars if I could. Went with my elderly mother. She likes to sit outside. I asked the lady at the front if we could sit... outside. She made a face, threw 2 menus at me, and shooed me outside. Also, the placed smell kind of like urine, so I wasactually relieved my mom wanted to sit outside : / We sat there and waited. And waited. No one ever came to serve us. We wereboth willing to wait because we know that everywhere is short staffed but, no one EVER came. We left and I took my mother toGlory Days instead. I came to have breakfast a couple days ago for my friend?s birthday and the service was 5 stars. From the moment we arrived,... everyone was fantastic. Our server, Flor Herrera, was amazing. She went above and beyond for us. She was very nice, funny andhad a great smile at all times. I don?t remember the last time I came to Ihop but this one was one of the best ones!
