After our Veteran?s Day celebration at the elementary we decided on some breakfast tacos. First time we?ve seen a robot helping... deliver food to the tables. I was so excited to try Ol? South but I was so disappointed. The service was good but the food was horrible. I had a simple... breakfast ? waffle combo? my eggs came out cold and stale like they had been sitting out for a long time. My sausage was overcooked. I waited and waited and finally my waffle came out. It looked really good but I took a bite into FROZEN blueberries ontop of my now ice cold waffle. Yuck. I complained and they said to tell cashier to take off the .99 blueberries. Smh. I won?t beback to this location ever! I heard it was bad for breakfast but now I know it is. Read more

Food was good, service was fantastic. Had bacon dippers ( crispy bacon dipped in a batter that tastes a lot like funnel cake)... and then the chicken fried steak dinner. Other than the Mashed potatoes needing a bit more salt, it was delicious ????. Myfriend had chicken fried chicken breakfast with medium eggs and pancakes. Everything was cooked well. Ol' South is a tradition of local Texans. I'm excited for the new location. It's nice and clean but still has that southern... charm you've come to expect. And best of all, the food is just as good! If you've never had a German Pancake, just do it. Theyare giant though so share one with a friend or get a Dutch baby, especially if you're wanting eggs and bacon. Read more
This was our first experience here and it was amazing! The food is superbly delicious and such large portions! I had chicken and... waffles, and it was so good! My son had the buffalo chicken sandwich and was thoroughly impressed. Everything was home made withlove, and you can definitely taste it! The manager Marina was so sweet and even blessed us with a card to come back and trytheir famous Dutch baby German pancakes. What a sweetheart! We will definitely be back here! Love breakfast being served all day, which makes this a great place to enjoy so many good options. Service & prices are good,... but the food was even better! My favorite is the French Toast Combo. Their senior meals are great too & huge! Came with 3pancakes, one egg & a choice of meat. Read more
