This amazing food is found in the concession stand of a golf course.. Do Not Let That Deter You! I usually don?t expect much from any Mexican eatery, except this small restaurant is a gem! Not only is the Chef/Owner,... Gabriel, talented in the kitchen, he charmed us with such beautiful and unique presentations of our dishes. And the food!! Wehad no idea that such dishes could be created with Mexican food. However, after speaking with Gabriel, who is from Mexico City,he loves preparing regional dishes of Mexico using authentic recipes. So we tried his ?Pimienta?. From the first bite myhusband and I looked at each other in disbelief that any Mexican food could taste that amazing; from the quality of ingredients,to the spices to the presentation- which is a work of art in its own, we knew that we had found a tiny Diamond in Burlingame!!! How can this place not have a 5 Michelin Star rating is beyond us. If you haven?t been here before it?s definitely worth avisit. You have got to be kidding me. Just landed from Florida and decided we wanted some Mexican food. Less then a mile away Google... said, which led us to the Burlingame soccer/golf center. What a weird setup I though until our order was ready. My wife orderedthe fish tacos and although she isn?t a fan of tilapia, said these tacos were the best fish tacos she?s had in a longtime. Iordered a fish burrito and wow, I was highly impressed. Not only does his artistry come out in the presentation of his dishes,but the food and sauces were so flavorful and rich. This place is kinda hole in the wall. We stay close by, stumbled upon it online randomly. Food is delicious and host is warm.... The food presentation was beautiful. I was staying at a nearby hotel and decided to walk over. Entering, no big deal but immediately, was greeted very nicely by a... young man behind the cashier. He was patient by explaining the menu with any questions, and took my order. I had 3 minitostadas. As soon as my dish arrived my table, I was blown away by the presentation. So much time and detail?it was a big dealto me Bc I wasn?t expecting it. It wasn?t just how it looked?they tasted amazing! Packed with flavors; very savory.
