I recently enjoyed a Sunday dinner at Mingalaba Restaurant and we were pleasantly treated to a great potpourri of food dishes... which were reminiscent of India, China, and Southeast Asia. I particularly enjoyed the Samosas, The Chicken Curry, and the Crab& Cheese wraps. When we dined on Sunday evening, the dining room was full as well as the outdoor curbside seating. Althoughbusy, The staff did an extraordinary job of servicing our table. One important tidbit we noticed was the sanitary practices ofthe staff. Ten stars for their cleanliness and attention to details. Read more

Good food, reasonably priced right on the main drag of downtown Burlingame. It's a small place and we had to wait for about 15... minutes to get a table. Burmese food items resembled a fusion of Indian & Thai Cuisine. We ordered Samusa, Veechu Parotta &Noodles which were plenty for three of us. And to suit the local tastes was less spice. Though service was quick, it couldhave been little bit more pleasant. Also, ambiance could use some upgrade with better lighting. Overall good food at a greatlocation. Would visit again. Read more

I originally set out in hunt of traditional style Mexican food. The place a few blocks down was so disappointing in atmosphere... and smell that I didn't even bother to sit down. So I took to walking and let my nose be my guide. I spotted the unobtrusive redsign claiming Burmese food and thought "what the hey, I'll give it a try." I had never eaten Burmese food before and wanted totry something classic. Josh, the very pleasant young man who waited on me, made a suggestion for Burmese style chicken curry andcoconut rice. The chicken in this dish is all dark meat and it was very tender and moist. The seasonings were well blended andnot overpowering. The rice was beautifully cooked and had a mild sweet after note that went well with the curry. This is ahidden San Francisco gem. Read more

It's a decent Burmese restaurant in the middle of downtown Burlingame. The menu is pretty extensive. The food was good. Service... was OK; on a cold and windy evening we had to fight for the heater and the staff didn't look too friendly. Read more

Can't really attest to the authenticity of Burmese but it feels like a fusion of Indian and Chinese flavors. Tried the tea leaf... salad, Burmese pork potato curry and house special noodles. The tea leaf salad was good but not special tasted just likeshredded cabbage with peanuts. The house special noodles was a bit lacking in flavor maybe spicy wouldn't been better. Neitherof those I works prefer again. The pork curry was amazing! I could eat just that with rice next time. Pork was tender stewedwith a rich and slightly spicy red curry sauce. Service was adequate. Large outdoor seating area. Read more

Good place for some Burmese food. We tried the samusa soup and house noodles, the samusa soup was absolutely delicious. The... portion was generous, good for 2 people. Another great burmese dish is tea leaf salad. Due to covid, they have set up anoutdoor seating area, which is great. Read more
