I lived in the Bay Area from 1985-2005 and the various locations of Pizza My Heart were always a favorite. I'm visiting the... area this week, saw the one in Burlingame so ordered a cheese slice-what I got was something bordering on what you would get ata gas station-stale, dry, and tasteless. It looked like it was the last slice from a pie made earlier, maybe it was sittingaround for hours, maybe not, but charging $5+ for this is robbery and I will never be back. Read more
Alright, the owner was kind enough to reply, so I ought to fully fill out a review. Entertainingly, I work a stone's throw from... the San Mateo Pizza My Heart, but I was out for a walk that brought me to Burlingame, and was the right combination of hungryand nostalgic, so it was a slam dunk. As is the case with most Pizza My Heart establishments, it was clean, pretty prompt withboth the ordering and delivery of the pizza, which is impressive, because it looked like there was some kind of high-schoolsports team camping out that day.
