I lived in the Bay Area from 1985-2005 and the various locations of Pizza My Heart were always a favorite. I'm visiting the... area this week, saw the one in Burlingame so ordered a cheese slice-what I got was something bordering on what you would get ata gas station-stale, dry, and tasteless. It looked like it was the last slice from a pie made earlier, maybe it was sittingaround for hours, maybe not, but charging $5+ for this is robbery and I will never be back. Read more
Alright, the owner was kind enough to reply, so I ought to fully fill out a review. Entertainingly, I work a stone's throw from... the San Mateo Pizza My Heart, but I was out for a walk that brought me to Burlingame, and was the right combination of hungryand nostalgic, so it was a slam dunk. As is the case with most Pizza My Heart establishments, it was clean, pretty prompt withboth the ordering and delivery of the pizza, which is impressive, because it looked like there was some kind of high-schoolsports team camping out that day. The pizza itself is reliably delicious, and since the slice I got was just barely out of theoven, it was even better. It's never a bad idea to drop by PMH, and this one is no exception. Read more
There were four employees standing around. Refrigerators were almost empty. I wanted a beer. There were none . Not a clean table... in the place. The place was freezing and the ac and fans were all on high. Huge crowds of loud kids blocking doors playing withthe employees. Not going back. Read more
As a native New Yorker, I'm a self proclaimed pizza expert. I've tried many pizza places in San Francisco and most were... disappointing. Pizza My Heart makes a good slice. It's not the best I've ever had, but beat out my expectations. The crust wasrather soggy/greasy on my slice and began falling apart Midway through eating it. Read more
I love Pizza my Heart and go to this location the most often. Very nice family atmosphere, ample seating, and great location...... next to the busy shops in Burlingame in case you want to do some more shopping. PMH never fails to please with their largeslices and flavorful pizzas. My favorite is the veggie. I also got them w. Uber Eats and is very reasonably priced. Lots ofmiddle schoolers here in the afternoon, so can get loud and rowdy. Read more
Late post: d*mn good pizza! Awesome for the price point. Hits the spot, which is the best metric for pizza. Went back during my... short stay. Salad was also fresh. Staff was casual but cordial. Noticed local people come and go. A must try if you're intopizza. Not michelin, but wins in flavor and tummy go happy. Read more
