Line was long but moved pretty fast. You can skip the line if you buy a pint. I tried multiple flavors and ended up getting the... pumpkin bread seasonal flavor, which was soo good Read more

I've been to like 5 different Salt and Straws on the west coast and this one was pretty bad. The line stretched out waaaay into... the street and you'd have to wait like 30 minutes + for your ice cream. Maybe it's because it's a smaller shop but the wholeprocess took really long with just 2 slow employees. I also got the limited edition beecher's flagship flavor and it barelytasted like ice cream and more just bready. The scoop was also the smallest scoop I've ever gotten at any salt and straw. Maybenext time I'll stick to the classic flavors and... not go to this location haha. Food: 4/10 Service: 4/10 Vibes: 4/10 Value:4/10 Read more

Really good, creamy ice cream. I personally like the classic flavors but they have some, let's call it "exotic" flavors too. Go... their website for details. Long line even at 8pm in a weekday. Waffle cone is so good! Crispy and crunchy. I had the salted, malted, cookie dough. But I tasted the salted caramel which was also good. I did a taste test of the honey lavender... not mything. Same for coconut sherbet. I did, however, like the mint chocolate chip (v). I think it is non dairy but still excellent. Read more

Amazing flavors, amazing texture, just amazing ice cream. One of the best ice cream shops I have ever been too and I am sad they... don't have one back in NYC. The flavors are innovative (18 flavors, 3 vegan and 4 seasonal) and they allow unlimited samplingand even recommend it. They are also pro-environment and they use steel sample spoons. Staff were also really helpful. Theirsaffron floral petal was my favorite (top 5 scoops all time) followed by the gooey chocolate brownie. All of the ones I tried(8) were amazing. Only criticism was that in one of the scoops the sunflower oil was not mixed in that well, leading to a fewsmall solid pieces of sunflower oil in the ice cream Read more

Excellent transplant from the PNW. Pricey but worth it (what in CA isn't these days?) The flavors here are amazing and often... unique. You can always taste first then endulge. A perfect ending to our Burmese dinner up the street at Mingalaba. Warning:folks who might otherwise share ice cream with you (doubles are always less expensive than 2 singles) may not be willing toshare... For example I was sharing a cone with my 2 year old grandson at some point he started shaking his head no instead ofgiving me a bite. Perfect. Read more

Salt & Straw on Burlingame Avenue offers a variety of flavors that will appeal to all taste buds. They have gluten free ice... cream (!). Today there were seasonal berry in 5 flavors. Interesting combinations such as an Indian Lassi with berries. Myfavorite is the cold brew with cashew pralines. It gives me the caffeine boost I need in the afternoon which is when I (and manyother customers) descend on the shop. Giveaways were a temporary tattoo and regular stickers today for ?National Ice CreamDay!? It was hot in Burlingame. Ice cream was just the right snack to cool off & continue my enjoyment of the day. 8/13/21 Whocould resist? Returned again because the ice cream is delicious! They had just started the Campfire new menu series...great (!)new flavors to check out. And they resumed giving out tastes! I adore the coffee toffee cashew praline. The scoop staffsuggested I combine it with the chewy chocolate brownie. This is a winning pair! Read more
