This review is not necessarily for the food being served here (which is average, at best) but mainly for the attitude of the... ‘manager’ of this establishment. I live in the neighborhood and I generally stroll around Burlingame Ave with my wife andmy 2 little ones in the evening. These guys took over the entire sidewalk making it almost impossible to get through, especiallyon weekend evenings. Last night I was trying to cross the street and I literally couldn’t get on the sidewalk because oftheir table arrangements that occupied absolutely every single inch of the crosswalk entrance (see the picture). I went in andpolitely asked to talk to the manager, and politely told him that’s not cool, and that they should make some space for thepeople trying to cross the street, and the first words out of his mouth were “We need to survive” and then started raisinghis voice with a bad attitude at me and my wife going on about how that’s normal. Needless to say, I’m never coming backhere. Better food across the street at Delfina or next door at Rise. Most importantly, way better attitude! Read more

I ve been coming here for the past 10 years ! We have celebrated many birthdays ,enjoyed numerous lunches and dinners with... friends and family . The food is always delicious and the wait staff is super friendly ! The bar is well stocked , I love thepreseco they serve here , it’s specially good with the starters! Read more
So we went to their sister Italian pizza restaurant a couple miles away and the food there was excellent. The food here was... good, but I was disappointed in the flavors. It just didn't have that rich Italian flavor and spice which I was expecting. Thefood was definitely good, I wouldn't deny that. However, I expected more especially relative to how good their sister restaurantwas. We had the ravioli and instead of an Italian sauce it literally came in plain tomato sauce which literally tasted likeketchup diluted with olive oil. The tortellini with pesto was better, but again, I've had more authentic and better tastingItalian food, so I was a bit disappointed. Read more
This place has really nice people and I assume the owners are here who are super friendly. It's got a nice cozy feel and the... food is really good. The pasta and the Ravioli were really good. Went here today with my cousin and her sister and sister in law . The food was delicious. I highly recommend the chicken... marsala. It had a great wine sauce and potatoes and vegetables .The owner here is very sweet . Would gladly come again for adelicious meal. Read more
The service here was absolutely incredible. The waitress completely understood and was very empathetic with one of our friends... request, and she was completely responsive to all of our needs. Although my gnocchi was not very good, it’s always a hit ormiss at Italian restaurants, so I’m not surprised. And the pesto sauce with the ravioli that my other friend ordered was quitedelicious.
