I have never had a meal I didn't love at the Border Cafe! as a parent, I've been taking my 6 and 8-year-old children there since... they were weeks old. There's lots of fun music and lots of light which keeps them busy and entertained, setting an awesomeatmosphere for a family dinner. The food is very good and very consistent. So easy to have a couple of favorites and know thatyou're always going to love them with each trip... You can never go wrong with the hot, fresh chips and salsa! Read more
I?m not sure if the chef was having a bad day, but all the food we ordered were too salty to enjoy. I packed the fajitas and... jambalaya home, and stirred fry them together with a big bowl of steam rice to be able to finish it. The service was great. Thefood came out in about 15 minutes. Came in and was delightfully air conditioned considering it was 100 degrees outside. The music was loud, but not too loud to... have a decent conversation. The complimentary chips and salsa were good. The chips were freshly made and the salsa was slightlyspicy. The queso was also pretty good, very thick. I had the chicken enchiladas and it was delicious. The rice and beans on theside were perfectly seasoned. My friends had the salmon tacos and the shrimp tacos. Both were reportedly delicious.
